Mini Power Trencher by Terrasaw

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Portable, superfast mini trencher at a low cost. www.terrasaw.com
The Terrasaw is a dedicated portable power trencher that provides quick, easy, and versatile trench digging when and where you need it. It is highly portable and perfectly suited for use in areas with limited access. It digs rapidly with little turf or ground disturbance, which allows for rapid back-filling and quick site cleanup.
The winner of multiple National Fieldays Invention Awards, this Kiwi invention has created a whole new category of digging tool. After years of constant development - and more than a decade of proving by customers in NZ and offshore - we believe it is still the world's most portable and convenient power trencher.
Now you don't have to use large, expensive and cumbersome tractor-mounted or self-driven chain digging machines to do all of your trenching work. These machines require a special vehicle to transport them, and often damage lawns, fences and hedges, or just can't reach where they are needed. In the time it takes to transport this conventional equipment, you might well take a Terrasaw out of your car boot, do the job and go home! The impressive digging speed and sheer convenience of a totally portable machine you can carry with one hand means that huge time and cost savings are possible on many projects.
The patented Terrasaw cuts a neat smooth-sided trench approx. 40mm wide and up to 700+mm deep, depending on the model/digging bar used. The offset drive design positions the digging bar centrally, providing excellent ergonomic weight balance and maneuverability. The digging bar features heavy duty chain equipped with toughened steel digging teeth, providing high reliability and exceptional digging performance.
Larger trenches, e.g. for large diameter pipes, concrete foundations etc. can quickly be produced with two or more parallel cuts, allowing easy spade removal of remaining soil. It is a simple matter to dig curves, right angles or custom shapes as required.
The Terrasaw is invaluable for:
 cable, pipe and utility contractors (laying data, phone, electric and other cable, pipe, gas and irrigation lines etc.)
 irrigation installers (domestic and commercial)
 gardeners and landscapers (including garden lighting and lawn edging, where the need for timber boxing for concrete can be dramatically reduced)
 local councils (utility services, maintenance and inspection, soakage lines etc.)
 farmers and fencing contractors (laying electric fence under-gate cable, laying Alkathene water pipe, especially to troughs, digging strainer stay blocks, etc.)
 plumbers and drain layers (supply lines, sewer and drainage lines)
 builders (digging foundation profiles, footings, etc.)

On such a ground and a shovel is not difficult to walk. In Russia, in Voronezh oblast the soil such that there are 50-150 mm stones, roots, stumps or underground. With a weight of 150 kg our trencher bounces hard enough, but this little number just knocks out of the hands if you hit a stone or the roots well and if head is not torn off. But under similar soil apparently fits fine.

Hello, I am an irrigator here in central Texas. I can not help but be fascinated with this machine. As we all know how close houses are to each other, getting a trencher in tight spots are impossible. I can trench them main line but I have to hang dig most of the laterals depending on where they are at. This machine would help so much in the tight spots. Amazing videos!! How much are they? I want one ASAP.

The problem I find with this trencher is that it is on wheels- I need to dig a small, deep trench FLUSH to the edge of my back porch, to place animal barriers in it. The wheel would get in the way- keeping the trencher a wheel's width from the edge of my porch. Now if you could come up with a trencher that looks JUST like a hand-held chain saw- THAT would be a much used and needed tool...

GeoRipper/TerraTrenchers can dig through fractured stone, sand, dirt, coral... just about anything. It will pull up rocks the size of a man's fist. Anything else, dig around and pull up with a rock bar. If it is just gravel (no actual soil) you will get a bigger trench, and leg protection is highly recommended. If you are still looking, give a call. 877-694-0141

Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzread.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

How good is the Terrasaw with plant and shrub roots? We manually excavate 300mm trenches for telecoms conduits and often have difficulty dealing with thin but difficult roots. What guidance is available for use in slightly difficult ground - usually grassed but with normal garden subsurface roots and possibly gravel or light stones. Is the item available in Australia?

They make you jump through hoopes just to find out that they are trying to sell you a piece of crap $99.00 chain saw with a power head from who knows where, with a special earth chain, for the low low price of $2900.00. My Stihl Farm Boss Rocks! And if you can get that for under $500.00, then these things should not cost any more than that, and should also be as good quality. Just my feelings on the matter.

I saw a video somewhere someone using a chain saw to get the job done. Just dont plan on using the chain for anything other than dirt. I can't get myself to put dirt up inside my quality saws, but might try it out with an old cheap electric one I've got kicking around. The price of these things being in the 3 grand arena encourages people to buy back hoe 3 point hitch attachments. I think they can keep their precious earth trenching chain saws until they realize how far off the mark they are price wise.
