The overcurrent of the slow-running motor burned the relay. It does happen.... Great job!

Hi Luis nice vid like always! I have a project for you. I live far away from your country (UK I guess - 2000km) but I could send the controller for reprogramming by DPD DHL or so.. Here is the issue: Renault Automatic AC controller model year 2017.12. Kangoo but it does not really matter I guess due to Renault Lego style building strategy... So it works without any error code scanned with Xtool, blowing cold air for a while but after a certain time on long ride I see the 0 °C blowing air temp rises slowly to 7-13°C independently from Ambient temperature or set value. I see the command set value remains at minus 10°C and the mixing flap is not opening to mix hot air to the cabin.. I have another controller from same model but from a different earlier built year of 2014. It behaves exactly same way. I thought a lower emission level vehicle's controller programmed differently. So looks like it is a factory programmed "feature" to mess up my fresh cold air :( The temp rise is happening very slowly roughly takes 30 + min to reach + 7- +13°C from the initial 0°C. I can monitor it nicely with Xtool. I guess they are simply modulating the AC clutch with PWM so to speak fuel economy and Emission reduction Euro 6b purpose... Otherwise Fresh AC gas and new ac radiator installed by official service. It was always like this but now it bothers me a lot especial in summer hot 30+°C. Can you adjust/Check the program of AC controller IC? It is really a hard core stuff so I need someone who knows it very well. If I can buy from you a set/kit or something like that then I could play with it on my own of course but if u have ever met such a renault controlling issue u might have a solution already! I thought downgrading the Automatic AC to Manual one but it means I need to replace everything which is a nightmare lot of work. Alternatively Build an own controller with ATmega328P or Arduino... but for this I would need also lots of info about wiring actuators and communication LIN or whatever they are using..... What do you think? or Do you know someone who can help me on this topic? I never had automatic AC in my life but I can promise I will never buy again vehicle with automatic one!!! Manual AC is the best!

Weird that the relays are inside the module, and not in the relay box?

A lot... and I mean a lot of modules have internal relays for the most various systems. Ideally, relays should be external and replaceable... but I guess this internal option lowers the manufacturing costs making it way more appealing. 👍👍👍

@ecu-repair-programme Agree... You don't have comments activated on your videos... as I would just copy your above comment and would paste it on all your videos... What use does a video showing a PCB has? If you want to negatively criticise someone's work, at least do something better.. As you said... too much small mind... Have a nice day... 👍
