Mini Mobile Games Controller for Retro Gaming - Ipega Controller Review
Ойындар
A review of the ipega pg-9193 mini mobile games controller from ipega. It's tiny and can easily be carried around in your pocket or bag at all times. But is it any good for retro gaming?
BTW - the ipega pg-9193 mini mobile games controller also goes by a few other different names. You may also see it referred to as Tangoo or Candy Pie wireless game controller. I have no idea why Ipega have so many different names for each of their controllers!

Thanks!
Thank you! Could you please tell me if there is sound when pressing the buttons? (not side ones) you can’t hear them when you press them slowly?
What game was you playing in this video
the 8bitdo zero 2 version is the same. Major Problem it turns on in your pocket ! By the time you want to play there is no juice left.

the 8bitdo zero 2 doesn't have motion controls and it costs more, this is a win for the ipega mini controller
Ipega doesn't work with Retroid Pocket 2+ :(

Really?
You said 130 mah but on the back of the controller says 500? Which one is the correct number?

What I said was correct. 130 mAh is the capacity of the battery. The 500 on the back of the controller that you are referring to says Input DC 5V 500mA. That's the voltage and current required to charge the controller, not the capacity of the battery (which is 130 mAh). It's also listed on ipega's website. Hope that helps clarify things!

I seem to have misplaced my controller. I had it a few weeks ago on a trip. Pretty sure it's misplaced around the house somewhere. As soon as I find it I'll test and let you know. What I can tell you though is that the original RP2+ I had was faulty in all sorts of ways, and one of the issues I had was pairing just about any controller to it. It wasn't the fault of the controllers, it was the crappy RP2+. I've since had a replacement RP2+ and when I find the ipega I'll test them together. One other point of note is that the ipega controllers routinely say they don't work properly with Mediatek processors. I know the processor in the RP2+ is Unisoc and not Mediatek, but my point is, the compatibility isn't the best.

@@RetroGamesWorld Any update on this my friend? 👍🏻
It's not advertised, but maybe you know if it works on IOS? Thanks!

If it's not mentioned then it's almost certainly a no. I use Android so unfortunately I can't check it out for you. From what I've seen even the controllers that are cross platform and supposedly work with iOS only seem to work with certain versions.

I much prefer USB C, but I didn't find the micro USB on this really isn't a big deal for me. Apart from the bit where literally every time I try and insert the connector the wrong way around of course!
