Mini Mixed Media Art Demonstration - Incorporating Glass Fish

In this video, I am working on a new mixed media project, only this time, I am using glass fish set in gel medium and paint. I will show you how I affixed the fish and other embellishments. Plus, show you how to tint the gel medium to make a thicker consistency.

This was such a beautiful and fun project. Easy instructions to follow. I was surprised that you didn’t pour resin on top and was wondering does the surface dry really hard and how long does it take to dry. I like the idea of doing projects that really don’t need resin and they still look fantastic. Thanks for sharing. 👏👏

You can pour resin, once fully dry. However, it doesn't need it. Gel medium is an excellent glue. Light layers will dry quickly. However, if you are using it as a glue, you should give it at least a week to dry. 💕

What is the brand of resin paint white that you use

I haven't used resin on these pieces. I have only used acrylic paint and gel medium to glue in the pieces.
