Mini Food! Eggs With Biscuits & Gravy 1930's Kids Oven!
Ойын-сауық
This is a Little Lady Kingston Products Model #514 Kids Oven. Today I cook a mini breakfast of eggs and biscuits & gravy.
Lucky Penny Thoughts: I hope this starts a new series of mini food cooking! I have some other ovens and really cool mini items to show everyone. Since is this my first video cooking mini food from scratch, I though it went really good. I wish the egg was cooked a little less so I could have had a little yolk. Other then that it tasted really good and I had fun making it.
Later!
LPS-Dave

It's so cool that this "toy" works like a real stove/oven and kids can learn & practice genuine cooking skills, instead of learning to mix water with mysterious powder, push it into a mysterious machine, then do nothing but wait for a predetermined time. You said it's unsafe but I think with modern safety improvements, it would only be dangerous because today's parents (not all but many) have a problem with supervising their children. It's obviously not for young children and adult supervision or _participation_ is essential. We aren't taught how to cook anymore in America (and increasingly in other western countries) so we rely on fast food and processed prepackaged meals. If everyone learned to cook healthy meals at home as children, it could have a big impact on the obesity epidemic. I certainly wish someone had taught me. This seems great for teaching and if you get other cookware for it such as mini saucepans and casserole dishes, the possibilities are almost endless.

I always feel like I am watching the friendly giant cook while I am watching these videos. "Look up....look waaaaaay up!"
He's the only one who talks through these videos. It's taking away from the magic that is tiny food cooking videos.
I'm surprised at the condition of the oven considering its age

This was made before the companies got greedy and made planned obsolescence happen to get people to keep buying more products.
I stumbled upon your washing machine video while looking up diagnostic videos for my newish Kenmore Connect washing machine. I am obsessed with your videos. If I was a very ill child, playing at your house would be my "Make A Wish", wish. YOU ROCK! Please bake/decorate a mini wedding cake?!

I'm British and never heard of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit resemble a scone, but we eat them with cream and jam.

I swear, these videos raised me when I was a kid :]
This feels so innocent and pure and fun. Makes me feel really young.
My sister had an oven like that in the late 70s but hers was from Germany. My grandfather got in Germany after WWII for my mom and she gave it to my sister when she was 8. It had two spots on the stovetop and the oven was under them. It was way bigger than anything sold in the US and it weighed 11 pounds lol wasn't easy for a little kid to move. But it came with a frying pan, two pots, a metal tray for baking cookies, and two round metal pans for cakes. It was a real stove for kids
I remember when I was younger...I thought the lucky penny shop was an actual shop 😂
