I have the Malden Mini and use it all the time and love it but I totally agree the pen holder is so snug against the your inserts infact you can not use side tabs with pen inserted. There is no room at all. I politely emailed Filofax customer service asking why they supply the organiser with side tabs which are totally impractical as they don’t fit with a pen inserted. I also asked why they don’t supply top tabs even as an option or more accessories for the mini size in general like they used to. After two emails they responded saying that they may review extra accessories if there is more demand etc etc in the future but as regards to why they supply side tabs with each mini that does not fit there was no response! Just does nor make sense to me. Basically if you want this organiser with side tabs and a pen it’s not the model for you. I use top tabs and it’s fine with me. I don’t know about the Personal size Malden but you can just get about away with side tabs in the pocket size if you don’t have any tabs on in the middle pages.

I've just ordered a mini. Finsbury and now heading over to your etsy. Happy Christmas too me lol!! XXxx

One more thought... I found a good pen for the mini is the Pilot HI-TEC-C Slim Knock 0.4 mm. Fits the pen loop, matches the size of the mini, and the fine point helps with the smaller writing you need to do in the mini. It has multiple ink colors that even Ellie will like...😉

Your enthusiasm is infectious! Always fun to watch your videos. I really would like to try the mini as a wallet.

Love this video 👏👏 my mini Malden arrived yesterday 💃💃 The inserts are for 2023 which is to be expected..BUT 🤭 ice literally just ordered some 2022 inserts just so that I can used it for the next couple of months 😋🙈

I just loved your set up! 😍 I’ve been using my navy blue FF mini as “throwaway” planner - something to throw in my purse and only bring it out to scribble a note down when I’m away from the house. Your video helped me see how useful this size can be! Will be visiting your store tonight to load up on mini inserts! 😄

Aww thank you! I was amazed - it’s actually a great size for sofa planning sessions too, I think because it’s so small it’s easier to take from room to room. More inserts in the shop tomorrow - big listing day 🥰

Absolutely love your set up. The vellum are lovely without adding bulk. I know there will be another order on its way once you have listed everything. I have used Marianne’s. Hack as well for driving license library card etc. X

Love it! I've been thinking about getting a mini Malden for myself (although I don't really need one, BUT YOU KNOW HOW IT IS :'D), it's so cute and small! I really like your inserts and the idea with the cards!

I absolutely love this... my main question is, is it small enough to fit in a pocket? (As in a trouser pocket or jacket pocket?) I currently have an A7 notebook that I carry around with me everywhere but I miss rings 😭

yes the Mini will fit in a pants pocket. im a guy and there is no way im wearing a man purse or a fanny pack. maybe i could get away with a small backpack but that seems like alot of baggage to worry about. so all i got is my pants front pockets. im using an old Filofax Identity Mini that has 15mm rings. it measures 4in wide including the strap. these will even fit in my jeans that have smaller pockets. i use this as my wallet/ calender/ writing down ideas/ grocery list etc... i want a slightly bigger filofax but the 'Pocket' size Filofax does not actually fit in pants pockets...

Having major envy, your setup is fab! Loving the whole green theme... the dividers are adorable, are they available to purchase?

Loving the flip through . I’m still working on mine . It sure takes a lot of time to figure out what is needed and to fit in the small rings . . . SLITS are THE BEST for inserts . I literally do it to most of my inserts (: Thanks for sharing . This helped me a bit .

In inches those page measurements are 2.5 × 4.125, roughly.
