I have same camera mounted on my motorbike, works great once you figure out how the buttons work and don't forget to format the SD card. So once charged press the front button for a hold until the camera vibrates, now use the rear button for either camera or video capture. Red light only is camera so press the rear button to take photo. When both front red and blue lights are showing you are on video recording. I could never figure out the date/ time setting as it never worked.

My brother is going to love this and I am going to be glad he will no longer record his bicycle trips with the iPhone in one hand and risking both breaking it, and some ribs for not having hands on handlebars. Thanks for the review.

Thanks! I'm really happy with mine. The only negative thing about this camera, which isn't even really that bad, is when what is being recorded switches from real bright to real dark. It takes maybe about 1 or 2 seconds to adjust. I do really like it though. My brother-in-law took it skiing and his videos came out real good.

Not to dissuade you from this camera, but one other camera you could look at is the RunCam2. It is rectangular instead of round, but I think it is a little better camera. They are around $80. I guess it depends on what you are trying to do with it. Good video. I have this camera, it is very nice for the price. I have done some very long videos with it while cycling. The only thing I dislike about it is that the mic picks up a lot of wind noise and while on a trail the bicycle noise travels to the mic. Again that to me is the only drawback. I installed a piece of foam to try and cut down the wind noise but it didn't do much.

does it work (filming) when it connect to power? can i connect it to external battery on my hamlet?

i have a problem if anyone can help, the camera work's well,mounted on my kawasaki bike,the problem is that when i attached the camera to the laptop there is now file such as 'set up file txt' there is only one file (DCIM) only to show my recorded videos,any help?

Just got mine unboxed. They have reduced the accessories now. It didn't include the charger head, handle bar mount and one other. I hope the quality has improved and you didn't mention anything about the battery life

I'm using a 32GB card. I have mine set to break up the videos into 3 minute videos. This makes them easier to edit but I lose about half a second between files.

how do you charge this thing, mine just flashed, i charged it for ages and it just flashed and turned off again

Well Travis, here I am 8 years later. I just got mine from Amazon yesterday. They advertised that it came with a 32G micro SD card, but it didn't. I contacted them and I'm getting another camera tomorrow. Do you still have yours ? Anyways I'll give it a spin and see how it works out.

Yeah, it can charge and record at the same time. You can use it as a car camera if you want to. It seems to last about 3-4 hours recording. I usually run out of memory before battery power.

The microphone isn't that great. I usually end up putting music over the video instead of using what it recorded.

Yes, you have to put on a different firmware on it. It keeps recording but creates a new file every 3 min. You have to put them together when you edit the video. At first I wanted longer videos too, but then I changed my mind and went back to 3 min videos because they are easier to edit later. Longer files require a faster computer and my computer couldn't handle the larger sized files.

It makes a new video file every 3 minutes. You can put them all together to make one long one. I changed to 45 minute files for a while but my computer struggles editing them. It does a lot better with 3 minute files. I think it loses a frame or 2 every time it makes a new file but the end video still looks good.

Got a 128gb sd drive, its not recording video or pictures, or creating any file, no bat files, nothing, the functions seem to be working, is there any help still available before I send it back, thanks G

its actually pretty good, although its a bit heavy so your drones peformence might struggle

Octavio Silva I was using whatever came with the SD card. Mine is a 32GB card and I used it in my phone until I got this camera. It seems to work real well.

I am pulling my hair out why, why, dont anybody give a visual demonstration on how to configure the camera with a pc in order to receive your video images. All i am getting is uploaders giving a demonstration of taking the frigging camera out the box and having a look at its wonderful shape and design. i got one bike mount and one other mount with mine, no charger or the like. you got a better deal. cameras are shite for serious work, mine has a hiss on it. but good enough to risk playing airsoft lol

I don't think it is. My camera gets its time off by several minutes after a week or 2 so I'm occasionally having to resynch it.

This camera is garbage. The cable is unique, not the typical USB micro sd, sd, charging cable. The quality is garbage. Dont think twice, BUY A MOBIUS C2, way better camera, spend the 80 dollars through HobbyKing and never look back. Mobius battery lasts about 2 hours, on a 32GB micro card it records at 1080 records for about 5 hrs. Have many features, flip view, motion sensor recording, fpv, etc. Stay away from this garbage Sport DV, 1080 BS!

Crap camera. People that say they like video quality like this have no idea what to look for in a video.

What a waste of time watching this video! Everything you covered was easily worked out by any layman, what’s needed is directions on formatting the card, interrogating the card and downloading the data on the card. Also answers to such questions, (some already asked), as fixing to various helmets, handlebars etc, setting up in preparation for recording and or taking pictures. Alternatively, can anyone else offer any guidance for this camera please?
