Typically the number is the "tons" class of the machine. A "15" is a 1.5 Ton. In many cases the "weight" includes the operator weight. This convention is not strictly followed.

Unless you weight the machine don't believe it. I have a diggit em15 it weight is 2240

Loncin is also same type of engine builder, if you ask me, B&S, Loncin and these clones come all from the same factories
