A couple of things chris, if your finding your pastures not growing to well apply a granular lime to it. It will bring your ph to a 6 so your grass can grow and feed. Another thought if you have a chicken farm near by, see if he has a vacuum tank. Liquify it with a tank of water then spray it on your fields. The amount of natural nitrogen is huge and your fields will love it, but it will stink. Use it on your hay fields as well right after a cutting, the nutrition in your grass goes sky high. I’m not Chris but here goes, they use string on the round bales, then when you feed the cows you have to cut & pull the strings off cows can’t eat them, but not all get removed, ends up making a big mess. Years ago they used wire tied bales 75-80 pounds per bale had to cut & pull it off farmers would leave it in a pile outside the gate maybe 10-20 tons before they picked it up. Real mess. Hope this helps, I grew up on a farm in Oklahoma.

Hey Chris, love your content. Just some advice, make sure you get all the strings off the hay before you feed them that haybale. Cows will eat the strings on you. If a cow eats a string, it will kill that cow on you. It will bind up their guts and intestines quick. There is not much you can do afterwards, even the vets can't save that cow. I would hate to see you lose a cow, because of a mistake you could have prevented.

Looks good.
Look great.
He chris great content love it keep up the great work
Now you got some more good stuff to light up brush piles.
The ashes from when you burn is good for the dirt as well ya ought to think about that sure it might be dusty but it works
That tiller was interesting, can you imagine trying to get a 1/4 section done a little bit at a time, might get finished next week, maybe.
That place is cool Peace out
Love your PM ethics.
looked like some metal coming out of that final
I think this is the farmiest thing I've seen you do.
Different type of video thank you for sharing with us
I am fiddling "Swinging on a Gate" on my Violin.
Wow that final lube looked NASTY! Wonder if the factory lube has some sort of break-in additive that makes it look that way.
Job well done 👍🏻 11:30😂 11:28 love how you said how you doing 😅
Hearing protection please!
Farmed for years n learned strings left in hay or straw caused way many problems. We hung them up on nails or hooks or even 2 x 4s for tying up other things or burn in brush piles later.they burn good for brush piles.
Maintenance is the key to long life

Equipment, and our own life
I enjoy all of your videos. I know nothing about farming or ranching but am grateful for all who know how and do for people like me. You say you are picking up "strings" trying to keep them out of the equipment. What are these strings, where do they come from and how do they get mixed in with the piles of manure? I ask this with great trepidation concerning the answer of which I may not want know. Anyway great video and thanks.

OK I understand. Thanks for educating me.
You should get your self a small manure spreader
Always enjoy the farm videos! Great job Chris, farm is looking awesome. Did you get Elvis back in the field? 😂👍👊
Good that Robert helps you. Did you blow out the air filter on the Mini?, check the A/C filter? You are lucky to have 4 legged fertilizer factories.
I really enjoy the maintenance videos. Question though, why did you get Napa filters instead of OEM filters?
Love to see the results. Would adding some ashes raise the acid level, and would it be beneficial!
good video
Those floppy sanding disks are kinda surprising how well they work .
Thanks for reminding me it's time to service my Kubota
Good idea to reuse the manure, once the strings are out the stuff should kick the grass in gear to grow! Nope, those strings are better off burning in the pile for sure! The few strings won’t stop the tiller my friend! Keep a sharp knife in case! lol 🤣😂🤣
You're lucky you can do all your own servicing, otherwise I don't imagine it would be cheap. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Hi Chris everyone from northwest Missouri need to net rap your hay bale s bud
Pond silt is a great soil additive...
Doing good ! I turn 'nuts' backwards until I feel a detent or hear a click - then forwards as the threads are now in the correct grove. Never a cross-thread. Thought I might mention. Need a Manure Spreader. it would help. My Uncle Art (passed many years ago now RIP) operated a dairy farm of his and 10 other children farms into a Co-Op and shared equipment between and all helped each other. It was a wonderful operation. Now sold to new farmers. The baby that was born is in business and we converse.
I thought the Napa filters came into play after you lose warranty. Surely the mini still has warranty?
Good to see you working on your farm Chris, I know how much you enjoy getting your stuff done in between jobs! Thanks for sharing my friend, Kirk down in Louisiana sending prayers and positive vibes to you and your family Chris! Stay safe brother!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻
I always enjoy the videos on your farm. Have a good one Chris, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
I guess Robert hasn’t got an equity card😂
They do make rock picker attachments.

I have a cat that ate dental floss. Got it wrapped around her tongue and the rest of it formed adhesions all down the intestines. Surgery on a cat. $300 to remove the floss. Do you know how many kittens I could have bought for $300. Got to watch those strings
No warmup before draining oil? Sure flows faster when it is warmed up
You can tell how old a farm is by the amount of binder twine on the fence posts.
Put some dry out wood ash on that an it will grown good thats going be some great soil before long
