Use a hair dryer to warm your oil when draining the oil. As well place your new gear oil in warm water before putting it in. Makes life easy. Thats a weird configuration on the drive, my Cat is like the picture in the manual you have.

LOL You gotta love how much "help" you get from an owners manual! My skidsteer engine oil has to drain overnight because it is so slow.

Please do more videos on the excavator work! Looking to buy this exact machine. love the video where you get in the creek for the big tree!

Good video. Thanks .Have Kubota kx040-4 Looking to do first final drive drain. Like comment about warming with hairdryer to speed up flow of 99 wt. And also warming new oil going in. Another video on same project used the boom bucket pressed on the ground to lift track in order to rotate drive to proper alignment. Plugs very tight. Find any torque spec for plugs going back in.? Norther California

What's be bolt tightening torque ?

Any spec on fluid capacity? Total? And of course there are TWO drive gears, right? Can’t forget to mention the other side as well.

I have that same excavator,instructions say change at 50 hours is that right time to change 1st time then 250 hours…

Distructions pictures and the Real thing. Rarely match..lol
