Great video concept but far too late on the gear changes, could have cut a second off the times if changed at correct time, as for the R53😊 I miss mine so much, the whine from the supercharger and just the right amount of note from the exhaust was pure music 🥰

@@blackfrost273industries4 I just got a stage 2 tune in my R56 Mini + downpipe and straight piped the car. Gains are amazing and the car is a blast. Still need to test it against my 98 camaro V8 for a firm conclusion but loved the power on that pocket hatch.

where is the 184hp mini from round 2012? they had a little but other engine as the 2007 types

Nice, but i did 6.2 with Clubman S from 2013 and good summer tires. Otherwise you have crazy Wheelspin as frontdrive.

R53 ist generally more reliable and has all of its issues well known, for R56 i only know you should try to get ur hands on the facelift rather than the more flawed prefacelift r56

I recommend a supercharged mini r53 or r52 they are quite reliable

My r53 is totally stock . I get 6.9 seconds 0-60 . I think the reason is the cold air in Scotland ? Should be 7.1 as per manual . No reduced pulley .

Good luck, mine was always broken. Just bought an r56 last week, lowered, wheels, front mount, cold air intake, exhaust and blow off valve.

@@kx250fforlife thanks ! It’s been n front end service mode, the day after I got it. Coolant was everywhere ! So going through everything and refreshing it. Hope your new ride treats you well

the restyling of the r53 had to be better. has a shorter gearbox is better acceleration

F56 can do better than 7.

Steady start not flooring it, then should change up fairly quickly, thats how I used to drive my F56. Never went anywhere near the red line, not really much point, it didnt shorten my journey times and burnt more petrol in the process but got me up the hills or past someone that was a bit slower if needed. If cars wanted to go faster than me, I just let them. I never needed to get to 60mph as quick as possible.

Hurts me soul to watch that r53 shift on the redline when her max torque is at 4000 rpm 😅

Max torque is not max power. Power is what gets you from A to B.

Redline is more or less where you shift if you're driving for maximum performance. I don't mean to be mean, but learn how to drive.

@@jackbender4885 yeah I'm picking up a new intercooler. Some folks say that for the turbo I'm getting the stock one is fine but honestly I don't think the stock one is good enough even for the stock Turbo lol. The Abarth has the same issues with the intercooler being insufficient for the turbo

Lmao you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Shift at 4K RPM where you're making like 120BHP because the torque is like 20NM higher than it is at 6700RPM where peak power is? Please, do yourself a favour and educate yourself a bit. When you do, you'll be embarrassed at how wrong you were.
