To open the pattern link, click on “more” after the video Title. This will open a Description box to the right of the video (if it’s not expanded) but it will only show part of the window, so click on “more” in that Description window again. Then click on the pattern link & open it using a browser (not DropBox). Then very IMPORTANT, a page will open up (a DropBox ad) but do NOT click on anything, instead SCROLL TO BOTTOM of screen & click on hidden “go to website”. This will open the pattern doc. Hit DOWNLOAD button at right top of screen and print.😍👍

I just made one of these today. All I had was a wide mouth ring, but I altered the pattern and it turned out great! Love this thread catcher ❤

Great idea. Those are actually beautiful enough to use while on trips for tiny waste paper cans in a car if they were heavily protected with a sealant to prevent stains or to put small items in such as pens or pencils for children to write in a journal while traveling upon arrival they can be stored or used for them. Would make a great place to put toiletries I.e. toothbrushes in while traveling again if protected by a sealant. The ideas just keep coming.

Thanks for the short demo. I watch a LOT of tutorials, and some of them run on WAY too long. I sometimes even speed them up just to get through sooner. But yours is just the right length. Very nice.

Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful scrap/thread catcher!! I love this!! It's not a huge garbage can taking ⁰ up a lot of space, and it is small and can hold a lot!!

Thank you for your tutorial. I followed your directions to make the thread catcher. However. I used a left over piece of home decor fabric, and found that the fabric. was heavy enough to stay open on it's own without using a strip of plastic to maintain the shape. it works great !

Go to the “more” under the video, it will make a new window (in place of comments) open on right of video, then on right go to the second “more” & it opens the rest of the info screen where pattern link is. I know KZread isn’t a very intuitive user design so I hope this makes sense.
