Blows my mind just how different places in the world can vary as far as price of living !

I've actually I've been in this model home with the 3 car garage i believe....the rooms feel small and the halls/walkways are narrow. My wife and I decided not to pursue. Overall it's not a 400k texas home.

I appreciate the engagement! I could definitely see how it could be narrow and the bedrooms more constrained than others. I think they emphasized more of the other aspects of the home which can often shrink other areas of the house. What did you and the wife end up going with? Would love to know!

Problem with homes in Texas, is property taxes - goes up over the years. Funny, because it's cheaper to live in California based off of that. Do your research people.

Roughly 1-2% of the assessed value. Put your homestead and other exemptions on there and it caps to no more than a 10% increase year over year! A lot more manageable than some might expect!

I found out the utility costs that's very high there when she moved there and left California .

Smh...while in the master bathroom he said You Usually Don't Get luxury things like this for this price...it's usually for 400k and 500k home...lol, sir, this home is 399,900 that's 400k...also...this house isn't luxurious... you was trying to make simple things seem so grand lol
