Suho is older in korean age. Minho chose to call him this way because they have known each other before their debut.

K. M. Yeah i know. Its just Suho is only a few months older. Hes not even a fast born. He was born in May and Minho in December. Honestly even Koreans i remember thought it was weird he makes him call him hyung. And somehow Suho entered the year above him in school despite not being a ‘fast born’

K. M. Then after debut Minho found the age hierarchy too confusing so he decided to drop the honorifics and not call Suho hyung. But Suho found it offensive and Minho felt v sorry and apologised to him. He just wanted to make things comfortable between them.

@@nadiarahmah856 Actually both of them are 91-liners (Suho was born in May, Minho was born in December). But Suho was in an older year in school (so with 90-liners) which is the main reason why Minho called (maybe calls) him hyung :)
