Traveling helps to expand the horizon of knowledge, get inspired, and by passing through yourself, create something of your own, unique and beautiful. People are different and everyone has their own vision of the same thing! This is the most underrated fact of our society we need to cherish and use as a tool to create and inspire!
As a tea person, I am always very passionate about the idea of creating my own tea space or a place where people can relax their minds and body! I'm blessed to take part in creating several tea spaces and put a little bit of my love and vision. Traveling to tea-producing countries and witnessing different tea spaces, always makes me think about my 'dream tea house'! My high standards prevent me from creating my own place, but help me consult and educate other tea projects and this experience is invaluable.
Last year I had the honor of participating in the creation of a wonderful tea project, which, in my opinion, embodies most of the ideas of the average tea connoisseur. Minh Lam (minhlamtea.com) is a modern tea project that creates a beautiful tea product and opens modern tea spaces for people to enjoy both traditions and innovations. This is my short visual work about the Minh Lam Tea Company I made during my stay in Vietnam in May, 2024. This video shows the process of exploring new tea trees in Lao Cai province as well as processing teas in Ha Giang and Lao Cai tea factories. The second part of the video is made in the Ecopark district in Hanoi, Vietnam, where Minh Lam Tea House is located. A big three-store tea house, with a modern-style environment on the second floor and VIP tea rooms on the second and third floors. All the rooms are different and are dedicated to different tea cultures like Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, etc. You can notice Minh Lam tea products and special designs which make this company one of a kind and brought international awards for the best design and tea as well.
