Wow. I have listened to a lot of Lord Wilton vs Fiddlerman and other Holstein violins, and the Lord Wilton always sounded so rich and full! I only started listening to the comparisons with MJZ violins to hear more of the Wilton lol. However, in the couple I have listened to so far the Wilton sounds much thinner than in the past videos and seems to not even come close to the MJZ violins. I had been trying to decide between a Wilton and a Cannone but now I am thinking I need to consider the MJZ models.

Thanks for watching! You can't go wrong with either option. The MJZ violins are well made and pretty consistent in regard to having a rich tone. Depending on whether you were listening to a Traditional Workshop or Bench, you will find some similarities in the Bench and Workshop level when compared to the MJZ violins.
