Very well done i use to detect a ploughed property on ballarat maryborough road in havelock near bendigo turn off the lady sold the property never found gold dug many targets but i know people have found gold there in the past,just was not lucky as all targets were old rusty bits .

That was awesome. Was thinking that every time I saw Glenn get gold he cleans it. Must have filtered a mountain of dirt in his body though out his life. Hahahaha. Great find. Was fun to watch. Great video

Hey Glenn! Loving your videos just found the channel. Been detecting for over 3 years but only ever used my mono coil, seen you using the DD. What makes you use that coil?

@Nic Nolan hi Nic! Thanks, glad you are enjoying them. Have you found much gold over the 3 years? It’s just our personal preference to use DD coils. There’s lots of coils on the market and as long as you are finding gold that’s the main thing. Cheers

@@victoriangoldhunters Not really haha, I've found 6 little sub gram pieces over those 3 years but 95% of trips out i don't pick up any. Not really sure why and i get a little frustrated lol. been using Sadie, 15" NF coil mostly. I enjoy the time out in the bush but not finding anything can be very disheartening when you think you are doing it all right. Might try give the DD a go!

Hi Glenn, when you use the DD on the 5000 do you put the front switch on DD also or on mono?

Volcanic We like using the DD’s because of the soil in the areas we detect. Lots of hot rocks and mineralised ground. So we prefer the DD’s to the mono coils. Cheers
