Function over form. Heavily armored and gunned battleship with under the waterline torpedo tube.
After several weeks of work the Iowa is close to completion. This is probably my most time consuming build of all time.
Before I begun construction, I made ambitious specifications for what I wanted in a new battleship. Hull armor in the front and center must be at least 6 block thick or more. 7 blocks under the waterline. Engine bulkhead is protected by 4 blocks thick, and the deck is armored 4 blocks thick. The ship should be able to take several hits from tnt cannons and should be able to withstand most or all variations of piston driven tnt torpedoes.
