It's not even "for having an opinion" (because at least that would be understandable, some opinions are hot trash and you deserve the consequences that come to you), from what I've seen he doesn't even express any opinions on sensitive topics. He simply makes jokes, no matter the topic, and he is not trying to express any opinion in particular with those jokes. Tommy is one of my favorite youtubers. His humor is very witty, dry and snappy, all on account of his great personality. But- the community, the absolute cesspool and disgusting community that the MCYT content creators are fostering is absolutely vile. As someone who really enjoys mcyt content, I definitely would say it's one of the most toxic fandoms on the internet, ESPECIALLY twitter. It has gotten a lot better (outside of twitter) recently, but people do still worship creators and get way too into their lives. It will always weird me out when people will borderline stalk their favorite creators, they have every right to privacy that you do.

Him being annoying is really a persona he does to be funnier and more entertaining in general. You can see interviews of him and he is a completely chill guy who respects others a lot and is really nice and considerate.

my thoughts exactly. not my type of content but he's just a kid, and he's really nice from what I've seen. twitter is cancer.

Honestly happy for Tommy to realize at 17 years old that he needs therapy instead of suffering in silence. It's absolute shit though that it's caused by some heartless people.

the victim part really made pissed. they bullied some 17 year old kid online to the point where he needs therapy but then they call him pathetic for getting therapy because they think theyre the real victim here. victim of what?? getting your favourite youtuber be friends with someone you hate?? that literally doesnt effect your life in anyway at all.

Don’t mean to be rude but didn’t Tommy say he was going to talk? Like to help normalize his life a bit. I think he also said we shouldn’t worry so much about him going to therapy for those reasons. Or did I read it wrong?

This comment section makes it seem like he's going to therapy because twitter traumatized him or something, but he's stated multiple times on stream that he goes to therapy because, of course, general stress from being such a massive content creator, as well as simply wanting to get a different, proffessional perspective on his life. To quote him: "Therapy is poggers".

The only thing coming second too Twitter is the Tik Tok live section. Its pure chaos down there

I created my twitter account 4 years ago, July 15th 2020, I deleted my twitter account almost immediately due to the recommended posts that twitter put on my screen when I was 14 years old. I saw 2 things that I will forever disagree with, the first of those things was someone posting about how Adolf (the German leader I'm not saying his last name cus ion wanna be banned) was "not a bad person" and saying shit like "religious people need to be culled" (these are direct quotes). The second (and far worse) thing I saw on that app was a post from an account with over 20k followers, posting animated child p*rn. The fact that anyone can get away with shit like that on an app with an age limit of 13+ is fucking disturbing and I will never use it again in my life
