man, the nostalgia... me and my brothers sitting in their room building houses, killing zombies, and yelling over creepers. Finding diamonds, farming XP, running out of hunger when it was dark out, trying to get back to base, and smiling and laughing at it all. I dont always miss the old days, but i do miss who i was.

Ah man. Reminds me of my old buddy from Ireland. Met him online, we couldn’t have been more different people. Went from an online server and decided to start a world together. Was on there with him either late at night or early in the morning to make our time zones line up. We probably spent two years playing together on that world. I remember he got sick and was on more and more because he couldn’t do the stuff he used to, couldn’t play sports with his irl friends. It was kind of like his own world to escape the realities of the real one. I remember him telling me he was moving from his house to stay full time in the hospital, and he never really wanted to talk about his situation because he didn’t want to bum me out. He couldn’t ever get good enough wifi in the hospital to connect and he was almost too sick to at that point anyways. I remember we used to talk on the phone about what we wanted to do in that world and he just sounded so tired. He finally told me what I knew but didn’t want to hear this whole time, that the cancer had metastasized past the point of there being any hope and that he probably wouldn’t ever leave that hospital. We would text sometimes but he didn’t really have the energy to talk much. The last text I ever received from him said “Thanks for everything. Look after melokia (which was the name of our world) for me. My mom wants to thank you for calling and being my friend from across the world this whole time. I love you man”. Miss you Seb. Hope you’re building the base of your dreams up there

The music itself is of course phenomenal, truly. But we must also talk about the image shown here. Steve, pickaxe aside, resting on some diamond ore, in a field not too far from his home, not much in sight besides the land, a lone tree, his house, and the beautiful, endless expanse of the sky. And he rests, not done in his world, not ready to say goodbye, but simply appreciating the beauty of where he is, what he’s already done, and imagining all he could do in the future.

Oh the tutorial world oh i will never forget that.

I remember around 2018 when I bought this game on my Xbox 360 using my dads debit card, he wasn’t happy with the fact that I did that. But I will always remember when me and my old friend used to play Minecraft on my Xbox 360 when he had sleepovers at mine. My dad is now dead and my friend is on another school and I can never talk to him. This and moog city 2 will forever always be my favourite 2 songs. Still remember when I would boot this game up and this songs bass would be so loud 😂. The good old days… I will never be able to re-enact those memory’s. Minecraft as a whole is the best video game ever created and has the best soundtrack ever created. Sometimes I just lay on my bed and listen to this while crying remembering my happy place, Minecraft….

i still remember when changing game modes wasn’t available on pe yet. i had a cactus tower where i kill my self on when i feel like it, then one day, the game glitched and killed me twice, then when i respawned, i spawned at the top of the border and had no way down, so of course i deleted the world. i had diamonds too ;-;

Although I'm Late, I am proud to say that it has been a wonderful journey with minecraft survival and creative. I have a feeling that you guys do. I started back in 2014 when my brother let me play on minecraft, I was in love with it, I was excited to come back from school and just trying to finish my city with millions of villagers inside it. We can all relate to not finishing our dream park, themepark and city so I hope we listened to this nostalgic music and have tears in our eyes. What a journey for us...

É impressionante como simples toques conseguem passar uma enxurrada de tantas lembranças boas. Inacreditável, cara. Já se passaram 10 anos! 10 anos! Lembro de ter jogado esse jogo com meus amigos e primos como se fosse semana passada, mas já se passaram 10 anos! Espero nunca me esquecer das várias coisas boas que aconteceram na minha vida e de como tive uma boa infância. Minecraft é um jogo de cubos, mas tem mais faces do que se pode imaginar.

See you later to defeat the ender dragon! Dog:*waits 1 hour *waits 3 hours *waits 1 day *waits 2 years...... *waits 9 years........ ender dragon:where is steve he is supposed to defeat me! Wither: and me! Where has he been? Elder guardian: Its quite strange is he on an adventure? Dog:And when will he come back we need to defeat the ender dragon! Creeper:and i need to blow his house! Zombie:without steve we have no purpose. Where is he? Iron golem: steve has leaved the game. Now he plays another game called "fork knight" I think. Maybe one day he will come back. Maybe one day...

When notch 'left' the minecraft community or Bill gates 'Bought' the game it was ruined. The 1.9 we all hyped up for turned out trash. The 1.8 was legendary. 1.8 and older were the best. R.I.P minecraft.

I stressed a bit tonight (8th of march 2023) and I came here, I instantly feel peace, idk why. Back when there weren’t servers full of mini games, mods or speed runs, just you, materials, oh and don’t forget that one pet wolf you had.

I started playing this game when I was 6 in 2014. I would always play Minecraft with my best friends one of them moved away the other two aren’t on the earth anymore. This song reminds me of the impact Minecraft, technoblade, and my friends had on my life. It took me years to realize how amazing life was back then I just want my life back to the way it was. There will always be another day when you can pick up your diamond pickaxe and come back to your childhood.

I listen to this whenever i sleep because it calms me down and minecraft calmed me down since it allows you to build anything you want or do anything you want but yes.. our childhood game is gone but its still popular but remember minecrafters.. once a minecrafter, always a minecrafter

After crying for 30 minutes because of nostalgia, now I say that the best game from 2011 to 2023, you know how much nostalgia when I played my 7 bed wars on PC and I was afraid of the endermands 😢

The llama you see We all changed, you’re correct. But the game did change. Bedrock Edition has less freedom. Only certain servers, only certain skins (that you have to buy btw), only certain texture packs (which you also have to buy), only certain maps (which, you guessed it, are stuck behind a paywall). There’s no saving the game unless they remove all this shit and let players be free once again.
