1.22 END UPDATE!!! -biomes: endstone cliffs/ scattered islands, void, endwood/ voidwood forests with new plants, in a mangrove/ acacia tree shape -ores: definitely enderite, but not as an upgrade but as an alternative to netherite from diamond -items: equippables, they don’t have to be full sets, like an elytra modifier or some sort of boots with slow falling or shulker bullet resistance just like turtle helmets with water breathing

No,this dimension should be empty, it was intended to be that way, but however there is the dlc echoing void for dungeons

Interesting bits of lore from this video: 1. The End is “a land disconnected from space and time” 2. End Cities and End Ships are complex and apparently built for great use, but are left quiet and still in this nearly dead world 3. This barren environment is a perfect habitat for the water-hating Endermen 4. The Ender Dragon is a tyrant and is protecting something, apparently the portal, and it needs to stay near the End Crystals to survive, while the Endermen are opposed to the Dragon

Few more points to add: 5. Endermen also hate sunlight but still spawn in the day (Albeit in way less frequency than the night). 6. Endermen may not be the original inhabitants of The End and only stay their because it's the perfect environment for them. Also I don't think the Ender Dragon is a tyrant. If the Endermen are not the original inhabitants of the End then this may explain their enmity towards the Dragon.

'What else is there to explore in the Great Wild?' Since he already discussed basically everything in the End, and then poses this question to us, I am very hopeful that this is inferring on an End Update. I don't understand why Mojang hasn't done this yet, this will most likely be as popular as the Nether Update.

@@skeleton819 Simply put, they had to make a perfectly "ringed" set of blocks, and they are immovable. not the whole statue, just a random ring of Reinforced Deepslate. It's not a portal for now, maybe not for a few more years. but there's legitimately no other reason for it than to be the epicenter origin of the skulk. It maybe isn't the dimension we expect, but I wouldn't be surprised if they use it when Minecraft is at a low in popularity and they've ran out of options.

We're were we are because of the Nether Update truly reinvigorating the fanbase. also, they come back to old content all the time, like Crying Obsidian or the Piglins (Literally the Pigmen, just a change in the name to keep it more unique to their asthetic) So I don't see how not talking about something makes the content truly dry. Just vaulted for now.

Let’s give it an update, shall we?

I think many people miss the whole point of the end being desolate and lonely, and I see many suggestions to give it lush biomes full of life which wouldn't exactly fit the end. However I hope if this DOES mean an end update is coming they still keep the desolate and lonely vibe of the end whilst still giving it more content and points of interests to explore Edit: To put this in perspective for those in the comments who seem confused, think about the deep dark (not the actual dangers of the deep dark like the warden but the biome and ancient cities themselves). The atmosphere of the deep dark is very lonely and sad. We see no natural mobs, but sculk everywhere. Often times we stumble upon an ancient city which is a mysterious structure that offers dangerous but also loot. The end has a similar vibe (no mobs except the lonely enderman, everything is void and endstone, a few end cities with big dangers but big loot) however what is missing is variety. Every end island is the same, the terrain is the same, the cities are the only structure, there isnt anything very interesting. This is what we need for the end, not lushes biomes.

This video is just steaming with sarcasm. There is 1000% gonna be an update. 1. The dragon behavior will probably change. He can sit? 2. (Tons to explore) yeah nah. Only 3 places. So this means more biomes. 3. More structures 4. Enderman have more purpose than just dropping eyes? 5. A variety of growables? This is definitely a teaser for something bigger. They’ve been talking at mojang.

The vengeful heart of the end

If this becomes the next major update, this will be absolutely revolutionary to the game. It would likely be at the scale of not greater than the Nether. I very well believe that if the devs go all out and not hold back on any fears as long as they communicate well with the community the updated end can be very much welcomed by everyone!

There was a weird website saying it 'WAS' released on October 23rd/24th 2024 and somewhere else I saw it's coming 2025 which unfortunately makes more sense.

This really feels like a Minecraft version of a BBC documentary, I love it so much.

I think it would be cool if there was a new type of precious ore/block located in the end. Here's the catch: It's only located at the bottom levels of the end islands, and it's only mineable with TNT! >:D

The nether is a different dimension. Not under the overworld.

@@scitime4866 The bedrock ceiling of the nether is supposed to be the same bedrock floor under the overworld, not the mention the achievement for going into the nether is called: “we need to go deeper” also the word Nether is Latin for: “Underneath” which further proves my point.

The end needs a update to Minecraft because I feel we need more lore clues for it when the nether was updated we gotten more lore clues

Minecraft movie ideas: Steve was half human half robot and he was in a lab being created. The end got created by the spirit dragon and it made worlds appear all around the world. Steve falls into a portal to a new blocky world full of giant spiders,

Interesting new bit of lore about the Ender Dragon literally surviving solely by the power of the End Crystals, and how it would perish if it were to stop moving. Also, that moving bit is actually the exact same thing with real-life fish: They need to constantly move to keep their oxygen flow pumping. Just gonna point that out. Not often we get official Minecraft lore, so I personally love that they did this. THANK YOU, MOJANG! ❤️

Not all fish. I know tunas need to do this, but many fish are fine with sitting still. My old betta would stay still for hours when she slept.

the end being so warped and disintegrated is because of the endermen. the dragon at the center is the last dragon alive due to the regenerative properties of the end crystals. this means this dragon can take damage and be okay, making her able to fight off the endermen around the center of the world, keeping what's left of the center island mostly intact. the end is the fate of the overworld and the nether, and the end once was like the other dimensions.

What I liked was that the narrator potentially hinted at the heart of endor when wondering what the dragon was protecting

We really need a new update for the end (even the narrator was running out of stuff to narrate so he just kept showing empty islands in the end)

We really need an End Update!

The End has desperately needed an update for over 8 years now. Hopefully they’re hinting that it’s gonna finally be updated after nearly a decade!

The End Dimension needs a major update, which can amaze everyone and come back to playing Minecraft

some phrases sound kinda suspicious like if those were teasing something dimension beyond space and time something is making them (endermen) move dragon guarding their heart all of that feels like it has a hidden meaning, are there already some plans?

I hope the end gets an update cous this is giving me hope... And it's better to keep hope because according to mojang they won't add a new dimension unless they update all existing dimensions. Nether already got updated very brilliantly and they did an awesome job. The overworld got a massive haul.. Big mountains, deeper and more complex caves, improved rivers and new awesome biomes so mojang did an awesome job here too.. But all of this means that in Theory next update should be the end update... Hopefully..

What an interesting dimension, I sure do hope it gets updated

It's not that intrestimg but it has an intrstin theme. I feel they shouldn't go biomes but instead structures

They know what we want, sooner or later it will come, patience

The end should have some predatory plants , like purple Venus fly traps or something , I’d love to see some end liquid too flowing off the islands

you forgot to mention all the ores, structures and bioms of the end. The end really is my favourite dimension because of all those great features which bring so much varity to the Dimension!

Hey mojang, you might not read this. But, i wanted to express my love to y'all guys, because as a software developer myseft, i know how hard sometimes can be when people expect big things from you that seem easy but are a great challenge. I've been playing minecraft since 2014 and it's been a great time. Thanks to a game well made I have a ton amazing memories with my friends and sister. Keep doing things at your peace, some of us are aware of the effort all mojang devs put onto all the games. Love to all
