Apart of me does wish he had that more refined smoother look he has in official Minecraft ads and promotional material, so he’d have pupils thst can move and blink and be able to only bend his limbs at the center joints slightly so it’d still mostly move like a slightly more flexible steve and NOT like those fanmade minecraft music videos lmao. But apart of me genuinely appreciates how closely they stuck to steves actual in-game movements and personality

@@lStranger Honestly, I never played Minecraft or played Banjo Kazooie, but I am aware of their community, especially Minecraft since it's massive, so it did made me a bit excited when I see franchises I recognize get in. So far, I have not seen any characters I've played getting in just yet, but seeing how Minecraft, an indie game got in, there's hope that more indie games like Hollow Knight will be able to get in. Looking forward to that day :D

My favorite part about this dlc is that it stays true to the source material, Steve’s animations look just like the real game and the stage we got for this dlc legitimately looks like actual Minecraft footage and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was

I'm so disappointed with Steve's palutena's guidance. I guess it fits, especially for the Enderman, but it's kinda lame and uncreative.

@@Missingno_Miner It's the same for all the DLC fighters in Ultimate (except for Piranha Plant). Either they couldn't access the VA's for Viridi, Pit, & Palutena, or they were just lazy

Kinda wish the swimming animation was more “bobbing up and down”-y, like it is in real Minecraft sense you have to jump to stay above water Edit: I know that there are swimming animations in Minecraft now, it’s even shown at the end of the animation just before Steve drowns, I just wish that the swimming animation referenced both swimming types that are possible in Minecraft; bobbing and swimming

The swimming animation started at 1.14.1 and continued to the latest versions, the versions before that you have to press the space key to not drown and there’s no swimming animation, so it’s way slower too

Its nice how when steves swims he swims like how old players would by spamming A a lot, but when steve drowns, he trys swimming up, which is a neat way to reference to the ocean update, where u would swim with ur arms going up and down
