I could be wrong, but as far as I know, slimes from a slime chunk spawn at any light level. So by putting 2 torches you could avoid having to put hundreds of mushrooms.

@@TheySix It doesn't have to be a torch. It was just a silly example. They can be used as a lantern or anything and you don't have to put it on the floor, you can put it on the wall or the ceiling. In the end the only thing that is needed is that there is no 0 light and the portal already illuminates a lot. But wow, that was just an appreciation. In case someone doesn't want to farm the mushrooms.

@@ImKombo Brown Mushrooms actually put out a light level of 1 so the glow lichen are completely not needed.

to reach the highest rate you need an perimeter too to avoid any mobs to be spawned but if you are able to spawn proof the area very perfectly then its fine yes you have to add more layers about 8 layers in total

spawn proofing? and why you are using a chunk based farm to get a high rate you need a lot of thing but with 5 layers in swamp lake you can get 28k?!

I made it in spigot server and its not working- I havent made the perimeter but i have lighted the caves (almost all) I made only one layer Its a multiplayer server Also viabackwards is installed and plugins that let bedrock users join for bedrock users and older versions Is chunkloader needed? in total you must go up 110 - 120 blocks from the lowest platform and make an afk make sure you are playing on the hard difficulty and set your render distance to 8 make sure to afk when you are alone or if you are not able at least 128 blocks away from the other players make sure you spawn proofed the caves otherwise the farm will not work

i didn't understand correctly i do you mean that if you want to use about 30 to 40% of produced bonemeals on your wood farm but you want this be an automatic process yes its possible just you have to connect the collection system is ( bonemeal ) to the wood farm if you are using a moss block bone meal farm about 40 - 50% of produced bonemeals will be used to keep the farm alive ( fuel source ) about others you can recognize it which hoppers are for farm output ( result ) but for this you have to use droppers with observers to transport the items toward up and then by using a hopper you can connect them but it will be not fast if the farms are not close each other

Did you watch the video ? i explained if you are not making a perimeter around the farm be sure to spawn proof the area completely but even with this you can't because you are not able to find all caves around the farm also make sure the afk spot is correct

The reason of this is that i design the farms myself i want to make a farm with a higher rate but more practical and simple than the oldest designs So yes i have a made video about that before but it's not my design Also i working on a kelp farm but the rates are not good and the farm has some problems I don't like to waste the time of my viewers but im sorry about this i know you want that but i will try my best to finish it with the best performance!

i explained this in the video and yes the title was wrong you can get that rate but for that, you have to do a lot of things adding more layers making a perimeter Even if you have to use 2 - 4 slime chunks to get that rate but yes its possible Why is it not possible without a perimeter to be honest you have the ability to find all caves even 3x4x4 boxes underground without cheating so yes the mobs can be spawned exactly in that small area and fill out your mob cap about a perimeter, you will remove all blocks in that area about 17x17 chunks and then you will start building the farm from the lowest y level so the farm rates will be higher also i have a video about perimeters that i explained the mechanics of mob spawning in the game mobs can be spawned from 24 to 128 blocks from the player thats why a perimeter can avoid these problems
