Just a heads up, finished the pack today myself, and gotta tell you: Botania into Philosopher Stone is something to get into ASAP. Even if only Botania, get yourself at least 10 full mana pools. Thermalillys are IMO garbage, and Endoflames the way to go. But any other good set up should do. After EMC unlocked, get either into Kekimurus OR full auto high speed Blacker Lotus production (but kekimurus should be better, because at this point, that's it for botania in the quests)

Um, idk if you watched the video, but he made infinite mana, like literally, he already half filled a normal mana pool by using blacker lotuses (coal + a lil mana = coal coke, coal coke into crusher = crushed coal coke, 8 coal coke into squeezer = 1 HOP graphite dust, HOP graphite dust + a lil mana = blacker lotus. It's basically free mana, since he's turning rotational speed into power, then using that power to produce blacker lotus, the only cost is 8 coal, and that is easy to get, but I understand, however there's no need for endoflames or thermalillies, all he needs is 8 coal and to produce it into blacker lotuses, and to fill 10 full mana pools, should be like 2 or 3 stacks of coal

@xurnusx well I'm pretty sure it's EASILY automatable, just plop a chest in front to crusher, pipe it into squeezer, hopper or pipe out of squeezer into a chest, and bc Isaac already put a hopper above the crusher, so placing a chest there, and putting like 8-16 stacks of coal coke every 10 min, and concentrate on other aspects of the mod pack, like getting further into pneumaticraft, which as I'm typing this, is prob what Isaac is doing, I don't watch Isaac's streams so idk his schedule, I was just confused in why you said to use endoflames, Isaac can literally remove all that stuff in the middle, except the pure daisy, and have 3 full mana pools, 1 on blaze mesh, 1 on alchemy catalyst, and one on a grass or stone block or whatever, and he can have like 20 full mana pools somewhere on the outer ring as mana storage (I have experienced that having too many mana pools in one area is ify, unless it is for storage, that's why I recommend having 3 or 4 full mana pools somewhere in a common area, and your storage somewhere else)

Looping black lotus, coke dust and HOP dust creates mana *extremely* quickly. It's basically broken and gives 'infinite' mana for very little setup costs.

Fun fact. with Carry On and any create 'machine' thats a singular block and can be picked up with Carry On, when placed somewhere else will still be working. It's technically a glitch but its also really easy wireless create.

I think it's acceptable to drop in to cheat mode just to remove a piece of bedrock. Can't really consider that cheating.

I think that's what they were going for. Black lotus = lots of mana. Lots of black lotuses or ways of getting your black lotuses back = infinite mana.

One option to avoid getting zapped by the non insulated wire is to wear a full set of the faraday armor, I think it's just aluminium plates

In botania, there is a thing called cocoon of caprice, it can spawn one passive mob from each, but to craft it you would need to get some rotten flesh and bones from skeleton

also you would need to make a much lower platform for spawning if you had a biome near your that could spawn passive mobs

Some mods can and allow you to mine and/or break bedrock. You'll see it once you have the Infinity Ingot and the World Breaker recipes open up if you're playing this pack.

@@BenjaminGoldberg1 yes it is, you need to deploy a vibration mechanism onto a knowladge sharing book, it's endgame recipe :)

Just to note a VERY easy way to change directions of blocks is with the crescent wrench. Also a very nifty tool when having the garden cloche's as you can change the direction of both the top part and bottom part separately of the garden cloche with the crescent wrench.

19:00 how is it more efficient exactly? cuz the crafting requires 2 steel ingots and gives u 4 and create requires 1 ingot and gives 2 so at the end its the same no?

It’s more efficient in the sense that you can make them in batches of 2 instead of batches of 4, so you won’t have to worry about needing 6 steel rods and ending up with 8 of them. Efficiency by not wasting steel, which is currently painful to produce.

@Qudi19 nope it is in fact steel efficient because you can use less steel To make 9 rods it is 5 ingots of steel for 10 in total < 6 ingots of steel for 12, if you don't need 12 or want to conserve the current supply it would in fact be more efficient

12:00 it looks like your entire setup has reversed direction because now the nugget setup is also running in reverse.

@12:43 - "crushing wheels going the wrong way! I'll fix the crushing wheels!" Yeah, but everything else will be going the wrong way, too - including gravel processing. The better fix would be to tell your steam engines to go the other way.

you probably noticed it by the time i type this.. but it looks like changing around the steam engines reversed the direction of your belts.

you should use the botany pots .. for food until a cow or 2 spawn it then use it for wheat to breed the cows

Yes you can, I think you can just change the world type when you make a new world. haven't tried it myself though

My solution to leather was to spawn a beehive and make ersatz leather.

If your create is going backwards, your washing isn't going to work either. Should just change your rotational speed controller to go the other way.

Washing/blasting/haunting/smoking with create fans now works in either direction. Has been like that for the last few versions at least. It might have came in when they updated how waterwheels work. Two great updates to make create so much easier. Fans pushing items up chutes is still directional.

You're making free redstone, you have ender pearls, you have a block of bedrock - very worthwhile making a pair of flux networks and job done.
