It's not really a reference. I get that in Indiana Jones he hides inside a fridge, but that's because certain fridges are highly blast resistant and can block out some alpha and sigma radiation rays, however gamma radiation can still affect you while inside one.

the nukes in the mod they used are literally unstoppable. they just leave the bottom layer of the bedrock to make it LOOK like bedrock stops it.

Beetles are more radioactive resistant than cockroaches Edit : I'm a nerd so I needed mention this even tho a bigger bike would do more explosive damage but a smaller nuke is more dangerous bc since they are smaller the radioactive shiz stays in the atmosphere bc the lesser explosive damage makes it so tht the radioactive shinz doesn't leave the atmosphere which means it stays with us which is technically more dangerous
