@@superspell1 stone has a blast resistance of 6, and the cave dweller only breaks blocks with 2 or less, he should’ve just mined a bunch of cobblestone, but that wouldn’t have been good content

This reminds me of Gigeresque mod. The Xenomorph does something like that, breaking blocks. It's nice to see that some creatures of threatening appearance actually have the ability they are suspected to possess, aka break blocks. Though I wouldn't say they are the first one to come up with that.

I like that you do videos like this of you testing mod updates before doing it on your Hardcore series. It’s really great, especially for those who aren’t on Minecraft yet and need an easy way to know how the update works.

They should add a feature where the man can crawl upside-down

Turning this into a series after the wasteland? I wanna see more of this :)

Make a pit under your house and make the bridges out of trapdoors. If you add a double door mod, you can close the trap doors in an instant. Another thing you can do is make stone walls around your base and put slabs in your base to prevent foes lookin for toes from spawning.

make iron golems in your hardcore world because they help attack the goatman and the man from the fog! you might want to make a lot just to be safe also, make your house out of stone!

got a mod idea for the hardcore world to make it a little more epic in case of a chase with a harder dweller maybe. the name is "second chance" with half a golden heart as the icon. this mod basicly gives you a "second chance" by letting you have half a heart with everything that would've killed you with one hit (only if you're on full life tho, so if u already miss half a heart or more you'd still die) i think this could be lowkey kinda epic if the night dweller e.g. might chase you and give you a hit so it also makes it a little more spooky

What was the shader pack u used? And how you get the blurring effect when you turn? I see alot of people have that effect, I'm just curious. (Great channel btw)

The thing more unsettling than the man from the fog is his hand on the left side.

The perfect (wood) house for dealing with this guy: -Hovers at least 6 blocks off the ground (or just outside of whatever his reach is) -Has no supports or pillars, it floats in the air -Has multiple large holes in the floor in case he somehow does get in -Has a pool of water in the ground below the entrance/exit so the player can fall from a great height every morning with no damage, but has solid blocks as well so that the player can build an ascent pillar every night to get in, before destroying the pillar behind them. That's all I can think of, anyone else got ideas?

Fun fact, if you build a large pillar about 16 blocks, with about 3-5 blocks surrounding he won’t be able to climb up it since the blocks cover the pillar, so like a sky base.

For ur hardcore world I recommend making a lava moat around ur house area and in the inside of ur house have a layer of cobblestone so u can protect against the man from the fog.

I have an suggestion on making a video, can you add the scariest mods in a server then make it public and trying to survive the mods?

The simple house that i use against him is over the ground but no staircase. I go up using water that i place inside the house, and when i get inside i just remove the water. Easy peasy. Nothing can get up there.

If the mod was based in explosive resistance of 3 or lower i think it would be more balanced instead of the hardness of 2. He could still break doors and fences and wood but not cobble.

Since the Night Dweller can't break blocks with a Blast Resistance oven 2, then it's possible to either fortify the build with cobblestone (BR 6) or build underground

just replace the stuff with stone cobble and stone bricks and such to make it better and you have more wood even though itll take a while
