the creative effort put into this, the concept of a new mod for an old build of a game- its so clever; furthermore, its done so well. i know that when i play this, its going to be like reliving those first days in minecraft. honestly i cant wait to see what the future holds for this mod, its such a gift.

This feels more like Minecraft than Minecraft does

I’m literally just fawning over the work you’ve done now, but I just can’t get over how perfect the additions you’ve added are. Berry Bushes, Tables, Wrenches/Gears, all the new blocks, Everything is genius. Not only did you take stuff that should have been in the game already, but you’re taking the features Mojang added, trimming the fat, and expanding on them even more. My favorite has to be the floating islands, and the Wyverns; it’s like you perfected the Aether, and added the scrapped Overworld dragon concept too! I can’t wait to see what that spooky new mob at the end is! If I can suggest an addition, you should try a biome that’s like an ocean that stretches all the way to near the bedrock level, like a Deep Sea Trench or something. Maybe some kind of Abyss Creature to go with it, but it’s a lot of work and that’s all up to you!

What Minecraft should’ve become, I love this so much.

This mod looks SICK dude, would've love if the mod had the vocano biome from that "concept art" from a long time ago along side with the tunels and red dragon, but still the mod looks amazing and well done

All you have to do is download the server jar from our discord server and set it up the same as any other minecraft server jar :)

You'd have to download the mod through our discord server (link is in the description). From there, we have instructions on how to install the mod for specific launchers.

A solid enough mod, minus a few things that make this feel like a small kitchen sink modpack more than an Indev mod. Especially the wendigo ripped straight from DUSK. Should also really provide the download link in more places than just Discord. Having people jump into a server for download links is bleh.

Well, I wouldn't call these 'plans', but I have a few boss ideas that i would like to do. I just need to find a good purpose for each of them that doesn't make them obsolete something else and doesn't make them into an Ender Dragon type of thing

@@Poltard one of the bosses I'd like to do is (the best way i can describe this without revealing it in its entirety) something like a sort of "nether golem" that you fish up from lava and then have to battle. Another one was a giant, but that one might be too generic so I don't know if that one would ever be in the game. If we ever have the ability to go to the moon, or have some sort of End-like dimension, I would love to have some sort of crazy reality-bending boss there. While this last one isnt a boss, I'd also like to have pigman villages at some point, ones that can have armies to defend themselves or hunt you down with, assuming you get on their bad side. I have no promises that any of these will end up in the mod, but I would love to have them if I can ever find really good purposes for them (the bosses that is).

@@silveros go for a abandoned castle structure and put a giant in the center that has chains all over its arms like it was tied down and broke free, thats what I was gonna do for mangopack (a beta 1.7.3 modpack) but I don’t think i’ll ever do anything in blockbench yet lol.

I wish they were actually implemented into the game officially they seemed like such silly lil guys, I think it's a very goofy concept and it's sad that it didn't make it :[ I'd love to see that idea make a comeback through this mod if you ever feel like it!! That would be a very fun addition indeed :3

Hello 👋 to say I'm excited for this would be an understatement I have Autism and extreme special interest for Minecraft indev phase for no reason LOL I love to play Minecraft indev way more than even 1.19 the Simplicity of the game is something that is just a masterpiece and I think the game in today's development cycle has just lost. Even though I love my craft indev it can be fairly difficult to play with no Sprint mechanics or shift clicking those simple quality of life improvements make a huge difference while playing the game I have a fairly important question due to this being a kind of mock mod and Improvement mod to the original stages of Minecraft Will the terian generation have choices. For example in orginal indev :the inland :the island: flat: floating island.: Will those still exist or will this mob take to mock tertian generation like Minecraft Infdev-022710 and beyond. Can there be a set limit to a world size like an indev because that's very important, personally a set (1000x1000) World size is way more attractive to play than infinite This looks very fun and to say I'm excited would be an understatement congrats on all the progress excited to check this out when it comes out Much love,

Well, probably not in the same way as indev, but 2.8 does add world types (probably should've tossed those into the trailer but forgot about them lol). Our currently planned world types are: Normal (world gen shown off in the trailer), Superflat, Continental (no oceans, more akin to the original ReIndev terrain gen), Skygrid & Skyblock, (possibly) Nether or floating islands start? We also have some ideas for a customizable single biome world type. We could make something to mock indev's terrain gen, since that's just basic 2d perlin noise, and probably make that a world type too. > Can there be a set limit to a world size like in indev? Yes, eventually. This was one of the reasons why we added cubic chunks :) World sizes might be something we try to tackle in 2.9 or 2.10. I would love to expand world types and world customizability, as I feel that helps make the game more replayable when players are given more options as to how to play *their* way.
