They already have glow lichen but new light sources would be sweet. I also think they should add copper wires to make redstone builds less confusing and more streamlined.

Just to clarify that this update is poorly advertised because instead of naming a Wild Update, they should name it as Cave and Cliff Part III. Even we has a Warden, but it still not very ‘wild’ enough.

Maybe there will be more in the update that they didn't share? Agnes said they wanted to focus on biome diversity and making the biomes more atmospheric. Even though they cut the birch forest overhaul, she did say in this video that the birch forest was just an example of what they plan to do in this update, and then went on to say that the swamp was definitely getting the most love. Yet they seemed to imply that every biome would receieve some sort of atmospheric update. Just speculation, not sure if they have to release everything through a snapshot or not before the official release, cuz then this would all be wrong.

@@morpheus1531 I initially interpreted the update as first they'd focus on the swamp, meanwhile they'd brainstorm for birch forest update features. Then they'd complete the birch forest while brainstorming another biome's features. Then I believed they'd just do a minimum of the two, but continue if they thought there was time. Though now it's clear after rewatching that only the swamp was ever really confirmed. I do think that they were planning to work on more biomes such as the birch forest, but wanted to wait until they had better ideas and more time.

The Skulk stuff got a lot creepier after finding out that they grow if something dies near them. Like they straight up went from “Hi, I’m a Skulk Sensor and I can help you with redstone!” to “What you call a massacre, I call a banquet.”

I made even bedrock breakers and quarries, still skulk sensor is pretty useless If you use redstone can you answer in which situation updating observer with piston can be locational and how block updates in 1.13+ and 1.14+ work? How can you achieve light suppression? How bedrock breaking works? How tnt duping work and why it's so important for tmc gameplay? Why rails are less laggy than redstone dust? Why you should lock hoppers and why people use composters above hoppers in contraptions. Why togglestates are bad. How to force gravity blocks to fall faster with boats and why it's useful for short pulse generators. And how you can replace copper golem randomization fuction with just a couple armor stands, redstone ores, observers, comparator and redstone dust.

This was the first Live I ever watched, I watched it with my brother and it was AMAZING! The set, the voting, the hints, the announcements… ✨

I’m really happy that the first biome that is getting added from the biome votes that wasn’t picked was the swamp! I really loved the swamp biome idea last year and was sad it wasn’t picked.

This looks amazing, I am so looking forward to the updates to come 😀😊

I love that they're focusing on more core aspects like generation and atmosphere to make the game feel cohesive and complete instead of just adding random features and mobs. This update is all about making adventuring more interesting on a more basic level, and the next will make some more interesting biomes that feel special, showing up from time to time.

Wild Update BETTER give the Azalea a new wood type. That was so rude.

I’m so happy the allay won its one of my favourite mobs and it’s a lot of fun to play with its mechanics

I'm more excited about the cliffs then the caves! The cavez are cool, but the cliffs will make INSANE mountain houses!

Ok I was initially disappointed that the Deep Dark was delayed but that feeling quickly dissipated once I saw the gameplay. Now I'm glad they're delaying because I'm loving how they expanded the biome and the Warden. It's much more interesting both in gameplay aspect and visuals. I also really like what I saw in the Wild Update.

for clarification: azalea is not intended to be a tree. its a plant. first the azalea tree is a sign that theres lush caves underground. and azalea tree is from flowering azalea(for item purposes) because azalea trees spawns naturally, no stages from flowering azalea to trees. and flowering azaleas is naturally spawn in lush caves. and that means that azalea trees shouldn't have any wood, and besides in real life different tree have same woods 🤔 share this for comment so does the other people know the reason why theres no azalea trees.

Ich könnte mir frühestens den 1. Oktober als Termin vorstellen und spätestens am 15 Oktober wenn sie es wie letztes Jahr machen. Die Minecraft Now Show könnten sie nutzen um die Trailer nochmal anzugucken und bisschen mit der "verbliebenen" Community (Player Chat Reporting Hust Hust) über das neue Update zu reden. Ich denke folgende Termine kamen in Frage: - 1. Oktober - 8. Oktober - 15. Oktober Ebenso spricht für einen etwas späteren Termin (wie letztes Jahr), das viele (wie ich) keine Concept-Arts mehr akzeptieren werden - ich erwarte minimum eine kleine Gameplay Sequenz... Aber am Ende weiß nur Mojang, wann die diesjährige Minecraft Live stattfindet

I love how 1.18 is all about grand scale and giant things like mountains while 1.19 will be about immersing you in small moment to moment biomes and making you feel at home in these environments

Ancient Chests would look cool that way it fits the aesthetic. Same with Nether Fortresses and other things. It would really just be a texture thing. I can't imagine that they would get any abilities. Except maybe like a sand/dirt chest disappearing after use or requiring a silk touch item to pick up. I'm really excited for Caves and Cliffs and the Deep Dark

This was awesome

The Deep Dark is terrifying, I can't wait! An idea for fogs could be for them to drop a potion ingredient to make a frog master potion, to increase speed in water and jump boost on land. An idea for fireflies could be fireflies in a lantern so it creates not a fixed light, but a flickering light for a better atmosphere.

I was disappointed when they announced early on without further detail that the Deep Dark was delayed, but when they showed footage later.... holy ... well worth waiting some more for. Truly incredible, a new highlight of the game.

not gonna lie, at 50:04 I got chills, because something about that mountain range reminded me of the sense of adventure I had when I first played minecraft. seeing such cool and vast generation is just amazing, and anything that helps capture that "new to minecraft feeling" that new players felt is amazing

@@Ritz1256 although I wouldn't expect all the lost biomes' proposed features to be implemented in 1.19; they'd probably improve other biomes as well that is not in the vote.

Seeing the bigger and better mountains reminded me of the extreme terrain of the older versions and I’m excited to see more than just rolling hills and average mountains. Some of the old base designs can be brought back! Thanks Mojang!

I like how they used Chest Boats despite them losing the biome vote, but either way: This Minecraft Live was beyond amazing, I can't wait for what you guys have in store for us! Still sad that the Copper Golem is no longer with us, but the Allay is still a really cool pick! I wonder what it'll be up to in the coming updates! :D

although the swamp lost the biome vote, they did say it was a vote for which they ere gonna update FIRST. They are planning on updating all the biomes we saw, just over time.

I like that they’re bringing the swamp back. Maybe after one or two updates they’ll bring the Savanna back. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I also wonder if you’ll be able to catch and move fireflies, maybe in glass bottles or new jars? The possibilities! Only time can tell.

It is amazing how Minecraft evolved over the years. I remember when 1.0 came out in 2011. I played it back ten in my cousin's house. I wanted to build a glass house back then. This is inspiring. We usually don't realize that there are real people behind Minecraft - programmers, testers, directors and many more. We should sometimes stop and appriaciate everyone that made not only Mineraft but other amazing games. Thank you for all those years of memories!

I really feel this 6 year old me was just fine in my "mansion"(I think this was the TU7 house) on the xbox 360, and here I am now what I would call someone who really cares about the game hears all the news and plays all the snapshots on a game that looks so different than it did then and idk it's just amazing
