@@Electronem1 he's not joking I have th same problem my computer is about 4 years or 5 years old and the fps I get playing hypixel bedwars on a day with good wifi is 30 fps and on a normal day it's like 20 fps and then on a bad day I just don't play

I actually did play on a 30 fps laptop until literally last Monday. Now I have an Alienware pc and comboing is so easy. Before all I could do was trade hits and hope for the best, even with w tapping and everything

Lmao i played minecraft on a MacBook Air 2014 for the last Five years, i have now bought a better laptop

Okay theres a HUgE difference between setting a high end PC to max frames at 30/60, and actually playing on a low end PC that has a max of 30/60 fps. Theres HuGe input delay, drops and peaks, freezes, and more things that makes it a pain. Just wanted to put that out there

as someone who was used to playing with a 2010 mac this is true, even capping the frames to a low fps causes a lot of spikes which makes the game difficult to play

@@aurniox Exactly. This is why it pains me to see that the majority of tutorials online on increasing FPS are made by people who don't have actual framerate issues. While some tips work, the impact of a 5% increase in frames to a person with 500 FPS already is going to give you 25 extra frames, meanwhile the person following the tutorial with 50 FPS will only get 2.5 extra frames... There's huge differences.

brings me back to when i would play on the old family computer with the trackpad gettin 20 fps on 2 render distance

As some people said, 30 fps on a high end pc or laptop is different from playing on a 10 year old laptop that can barely get 20 fps. High end laptops and pcs don't usually get lag spikes, while older laptops frequently get it

Back when I first started playing, I was on a aio pc thats over 11 years old now. It has a 1st gen i3 and intel hd 2500. I got like 100+ fps and if i wanted to, I could almost get 60 fps consistently with really low end shaders.
