Want to know more about Minecraft? Minecraft is an online virtual sandbox type game where people of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. Nearly everything on Minecraft is built and designed by the players. Each player starts by choosing a character and giving it a name. They can then explore Minecraft having fun by chatting and working with other players to survive in survival mode or even create huge structures with an unlimited lego like set of blocks. Each player has their own land and a virtual toolbox with which to make creations - be it a castle, mansion or a giant arcade machine for example. There are lots of multiplayer games and servers through which players learn to cooperate.

If a hay block is used underneath the campfire in the chimney, you get a smoke signal. It can be seen from chunks away for how high the smoke reaches-- kind of like a beacon but without the buffs.

Thanks for making this. I love the details using fences, campfires and the fireplace. The stone and dark wood of the spruce (and the metal banding of the trapdoors) makes it feel very "Olde Scottish". I expanded the 5x5 system to 7x7, as I wanted a bit more room for storage and crafting areas. But I only built up one block higher (so 7x7x6?), as I did this on survival and had no scaffolding to make things easier. Ladders helped. The 7x7 worked out well for the most part, and allowed for some very attractive wall - block - wall patterns around the perimeter. I did have to raise the "bedroom" an extra block because the roof was covering the windows. This will probably become my enchanting room, as the larger 7x7x6 rooms give it a bit more space, and it's a bit of a trek to get up to that room from the ground floor. I put my bed in the 2nd floor of the lookout tower (for now). One last thing - put this thing high enough for it to snow instead of rain, and it has a very cool "Castle Black" feel to it as well! Anyways, fantastic build, and functional, which many cool builds lack, IMO.

What's fantastic about this building system is that it gives us a structure that we can systematically and mindlessly work on. The matter of detailing is then a matter of inspiration from inspecting other people's builds. This building system allows us to create and evolve purpose-driven buildings and rooms without the need to be a master crafter who can plan things out 100 steps in advance.

This was a pretty good video, and I was able to replicate it in full survival. This build was also the perfect mix of being aesthetically pleasing and being functional. Good Job 👍

Viking semi-neutral mobs that actively attack ocean-side villages, outposts, and Pirate bases would be awesome! Make them a tier or 2 higher than Pillagers, but without magic (unless it's like a Berserker buff); and they primarily stick to within a few hundred blocks of the coast.

This was the easiest to follow and replicate in game build video I have ever seen. I was able to build it with my own minor adjustments to get it to my own liking with my early game my limited resources, and it still came out great. The simple to follow steps and the very easy system really helped me. I have been getting back into Minecraft recently, and have come to realize when I played before I knew less than nothing about this game, and now that it's been years, the game is even bigger. I also now know I never even left the Tutorial World (I had just assumed all normal games started this way with a giant Minecraft logo in the sky, lol), but I as dead wrong about that... and I have been struggling to get the hang of building houses more elaborate than a box with windows or a copy cat villager house. My house came out beautifully, and now, more than ever, I look forward to continuing to explore my save.

Not to be "That Guy", but I think the word you're after is "machicolations", the overhanging bits on top of castle walls that allow you to drop rocks and boiling oil on attackers. Machinations are the evil plans you draw up safe behind your castle walls while your defenders drop rocks and boiling oil on attackers through the machicolations.
