Nice Vid! I used Jack O Lanterns instead of shroomlights in hopes of increasing the rates since Hoglins can't spawn on shroomlights. Now I never have to worry about food again :)

Great farm/video! One suggestion would be to NOT use the shroomlights. Hoglins can't spawn on Shroomlights (or Netherwart Blocks). Maybe you could use Froglights or Jack O Lanterns?

Awesome farm and very good tutorial. 6,5 stacks of meat and 1,5 stack of leather in just 5 minutes (on hard difficulty, Paper server 1.20.1)

Great farm. A tip for anyone that haven’t found soul sand yet. Instead of soul sand put signs over the hoppers and then lava on top of the signs. Cooks them just as good

right exactly when i finished the afk spot at the top after coming down i got 8 stacks of porkchop and 1 stack of leather, prove this is good asf on top

To anyone wondering, this farm works great in 1.20.6. Worked well in a server as well. Tested in Lunar Client.

This farm is op. In a 15 minute session I got over 18 stacks of cooked pork chops and 2 1/2 stacks of leather. It isn't quite the rate claimed in the video but the farm is still worth building.

protip get rid of the soulsand and replace them with campfires(bonus points for soul campfires) and put lava on top of the campfires) i find it kills the hoglins faster and is less lossy.

don't think the hoppers can collect through the soul sand AND a campfire so you'd have to remove the soul sand block and just do campfires, then it should work

@aahh i meant soul campfires because they deal more damage than regular campfires, same and fire. I didnt mean campfires over soul sand over hoppers.

True, but the point of making this is for food, so its better to use fire than to just get more resources for smelting.

Our farm doesent work because the food just burns instantly anyone got a fix

Personally this farm only makes about 1,150 porkchops and 120 leather an hour. Although its not near the amount he says, it is still super efficient and will get you about a stack of food in 5 minutes.

depends on the world many say more than 1k in 15 minutes of only porkchops and 160 leather for me it didnt even do 1 per hour since it didnt work

Nether or cross-dimension mob farms tend to deactivate while another player is on the server

No, the point of doing it on top is you can afk above and only load down to the nether roof so the only available spawn spaces are in the farm

rail system might not be able to cope with the speed of porkchops coming in but if you want to do a rail system you will have to make sure that the farm is not taller than it should be

you built it in the wrong biome - it has to be in a crimson forest and you most likely built it in a basalt deltas or something
