@@dvvtries493 the convenient part is that it's portable xp, and I assume it is in greater quantities than quartz and more convenient than bottles o enchanting

one thing i really love about this warden farm i that you don't need an absurdly long list of exotic materials. the 2 hardest things to get on that list are an observer/soulsand (quick trip to the nether) and a dispenser (requires fighting spiders). no absurd special things that only spawn in specific rare biomes, no endgame materials and items like shulker boxes. the kind of farm you don't need to be all the way at endgame to make

Great farm, however on the server I play on the wardens get stuck going into the water elevator occasionally. easy fix just added a powdered snow block in front of the middle open gate Also i'd recommend instead of a chest at the top, make a hopper line going down from where the chest is & across to the sculk catalyst where you stand

The Minecraft community is amazingly smart the warden only came out 9 days ago they already made a farm of it amazing job as always

After trying multiple ways to improve the farm I found out if you push 24 chest minecarts or furnace minecarts into the bubble elevator it will heavily reduce the killing time also it has to not be normal minecarts because otherwise the wardens can go in them and mess up the farm

@@thebush6379 you could make it so that entities can't spawn anywhere but the main chamber with non-spawnable blocks and then the endermen can't mess with the redstone components. Endermen aren't really useful for much besides EXP anyways so you wouldn't make an enderpearl farm.

if i am gonna build this in my world, i will put a spider web at where the hopper is and put a sign above it, and move the hopper and chest to the same level as afk spot so i don't need to go up the ladder every time i want to get the loot. spider web is used to make the loot fall straight down to the hopper below without building another glass tube.

Mango put out the full research and different concepts for farming a warden last week sometime? This is his ilmango's future proof choice, but you could also make the whole spawning platform into portals if you want to run it really fast but with the potential for Mojang to break it in a future update

It only drops xp without silk touch. And few people use silk touch hoes, and silk touch pickaxes work too.

Amazing! This is why i'm glad warden doesn't drop any god tier loot when killed, it would be absolutely game breaking. Even more so considering how easy it is to make this farm

Wow this was a godsend as I needed an abundance of catalysts and since wardens are the only infinite source of them... well, I knew it wasn't going to get easy. Slightly pricy in building but ever so worth it.

if you're doing a project where you require lots of sculk catalysts i'd say you're in a mid-late game world, at which point hoppers and building blocks (what i'd consider the "expensive" portions") are pretty much free

@@sev7nsev7n7 yeah at the time of commenting here I only had one Netherite tool which was my pickaxe. But I found an ancient city right next to where I was building the farm and an enchanted book had fortune 3 so iron was no longer a concern for hoppers. I've built many other farms after this one and the catalyst related build is nearly complete I just need more deepslate related blocks

their tutorials are rewarded by views because most "casual" players trying to get rich in their worlds only need an easy-to-follow block by block tutorial without understanding how a single thing works unfortunately a side effect of this is that most people who build the design only know it off shulkercraft, even if there is technically credit somewhere in the video or description, so the original designers who spent hours and hours thinking, building, and debugging in the snapshots are almost unrecognized

Works perfect on Bedrock 1.19.10 (Win10) here. Only one will spawn at a time but its one right after another so while its not super fast, its not super slow either. Also, dont go up the ladder before they are killed. NOTE: I had to build a solid block column to place the ladders on as you cant place ladders on glass in bedrock apparently. I couldnt anyways. Thanks for this!

BTW you can make this automatic with no player interaction required if you put a sensor below the catalyst, a piston beside the sensor, and shoot an arrow on top of the piston, the arrow will make the sensor power the piston, and the piston will push the arrow up, and then the piston will go back down which will cause the arrow to fall and the whole thing repeats. this process also triggers the catalyst to spawn a warden. so if you just make a portal chunk loader beside it, the farm will constantly work no matter how far or in what dimension you're in and you can just come back to collect your loot anytime you want. like so other people can see this

It'll be interesting to see a vex farm. preferably one that doesn't use stacks of boats that lags my game. I've seen someone trap a vex by fast pistons with honey blocks from all directions. Maybe use some sort of water-tnt machine to kill it. But the spawning of the vexes is still a problem.

The only reason there are no wither or ender dragon farms is be because the wither has to be built and there's only one ender dragon until you resummon it

I thought this farm would have been complicated and finicky it's so easy!!!!! Using this early game as well is great

Just a problem is I play on Bedrock Edition/MCPE and about it is I don't have any Night Vision Texture Pack because for some reason it doesn't work anymore after the 1.18 update released. @@Andrew-rv5ue I just built this on Bedrock. It works, however the buckets seem to mess up the water every now and then so I ran it with out buckets in the dispensers. It worked just fine. Terrifying. But fine.

there's even an easier way to lure warden in the bubble column than water dispensers. Just use noteblock powered by 2 observers facing each other behind the tower. Warden will go in on his own following the sound :)

Rule #1: Don't dig straight down Rule #2: If it exists, you can farm it

I figured out you didnt need the dispenser thing and just put a sculk sensor near the sculk shrieker and put a contraption outside the carpets with water that pushes you one block to any side you want and a piston that is connected to a redstone clock that pushes you back to the water source. This contraption makes sound made by the player that activates the sculk shrieker

still works in 1.20. Just make the radius of the carpet larger for extra security

even though the warden just came out in the 1.19 update, there is already an auto farm

Farms work in similar ways to each other. For mobs, You have spawning mechanisms, killing mechanisms, and transportation to get them from the spawning to the killing, such that new mobs can spawn. All you need to know to make a farm is what causes it to spawn, and where the spawn happens, what kinds of things can kill it (at worst, entity cramming with minecarts), and where it needs to move to enable the next spawn to work.

Its so hilarious that everything new mob minecraft adds ends up being farmed 😂👍🏻

At least put in the description that you stole ilmangos design...

Replacing the fence gates with signs in 1.20 seems to be working just fine. Just make sure if you want them on the wall (I did for looks) that you spawnproof the top of the supporting blocks.
