A tip for you if you think that you saw a ghost and get scared at night in minecraft: before the night, get some wood and when the night is coming, just tower up, make a platform on the top and put torches on it. now you will be in the sky so nothing can hide near you and you can also have a great view to see if the ghost is near.

The monster is Hannahcoats. Let me explain. When you see a player's name tag, it always shows, no matter if you put your crosshair away from the player's nametag. But if you try on mob you will only see its name tag if your crosshair is on that mob. That's the exact same case with Hannahcoats.
