Hindi po nagamit ng shortening ( first time ko narinig un) kasi ready made po ang gamit ko. may mga fondant na ready made na matigas pwde nyo syang Kneeding na matagal pero mahirap. what we are doing nilalagay nmin sa Microwave painitan ng kaunti then i kneeding mo dyan lalambot ang fondant thru kneeding.

It’s from Wilton called cake circles , you can buy it online or you can get it from cake decorating stores

What frosting are you using? Is it swiss meringue buttercream? Hope you notice my question.

Corn stach is just for dusting and the purpose for it dust the table so the fondant will not stick to the surface of the table.

For dusting the fondant.. What powder u r using
