Minecraft is a sandbox game developed by Mojang Studios. In Minecraft, players explore a blocky, procedurally generated 3D world with virtually infinite terrain and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures, earthworks, and simple machines. Depending on their chosen game mode, players can fight hostile mobs, as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Game modes include a survival mode and a creative mode. There is also a wide variety of user-generated content, such as modifications, servers, skins, texture packs, and custom maps, which add new game mechanics and possibilities.

A tip for further expansion: Use the slabs to expand, but use the lower block part as it means mobs cant spawn on them, meaning less wasting coal on torches. Speaking of that, wood is a renewable resource whereas coal isnt so best to make charcoal since you have infinite of it

it is so endearing to watch Kevin teach himself how to build in a way he enjoys. you can tell he has a lot of fun making these builds look good his way, rather than look up tips like a lot of people. EDIT: I mean to say the builds look good and I'm impressed he is just figuring it out himself

IF you keep this up kevin, you can double the amount of blocks you have to expand using slabs. I also found great luck with setting up a cobble wall around the "One Block" in case creepers spawn and move all chests to the opposite end of your island. I also believe (depending on which version you are using) you can reach The End.

This is fun! I’d love for this to just become a relatively low-impact easy thing you can turn to regularly while you’re focusing on your other projects or just need a break from coming up with ideas. It seems funky and random enough to not get old for ages, and seeing how you solve problems caused by the spanner or your earlier decisions will be fun
Hey Kevin! Using slabs for challenges like this is actually much more useful than you might realize at first! The bottom slab allows you to expand without worrying about mobs spawning:) Plus it makes these flat build challenges look cool, especially when making forests and farms

Hey Kevo! I've been watching for about 6 years. One thing I've always loved about you is how you can take a game that may have gotten boring and monotonous and find new was to make it both fun and challenging again. Because of watching you do that when I was 11 for the first time has taught me how to do that in any situation.. especially gaming.

Making a cauldron to replicate your water block is a good pick btw, rain will eventually fill it and once you get a glass bottle you can fill it from your water source. Once that’s done cutting leaf blocks and water logging them is a neat way to make a blast resistant mining space

@vogelvrouw I normally rewatch it every few months, just enough time that it almost feels new again to a degree. Love watching his Sims play throughs, but nothing beats the one chunk challenges to me.
Oh for the creepers I just had an idea (I’m halfway through the video) You could stand in the doorway and break the block, but you could have the block between the infinite block and the door be mined out so that you can close the door and if the creeper tries to walk over to the door it’ll fall down (you’d have to put an opened trapdoor there too so the pathing would let it work.) I’d love to see more of this series, thanks for the daily laughs ^^
