You can't edit a Command Block in survival, so that block wouldn't have done him much good

Do it again, but this time, you don't dupe items. Instead it changes when you pick it up. So you never know what you'll get, and you can clear your inventory.

The only time evbo actually played the game and didn't make the video scripted.

how did we get here is the 3rd hardest achievement the 2nd hardest is to travel to everysingle biome 1st is only available on the april fools update the ifinite dimensions the achievement is impossible to get without messing the game up

You can't place command blocks in survival. Neither can you open to type your command, making it useless in survival mode
