I don’t understand why they think we care about add ons. If they wanted us to care they should have made them free. Java players have had access to free add ons since the beginning if the game. The bedrock add ons are no different from the things on the marketplace. And also, PLEASE someone make a free word edit add on for bedrock. A word edit add on would be amazing for bedrock because console players have never been able to have easy world edit

There is currently a minecraft bedrock world edit port that's being developed and is constantly being updated on mcpedl, but I'm not sure how you could access it on console (maybe using a browser).

@@observerdot2107 Because basically they are in amount of flexebility . Java mods is entirely community writen java code + mod loaders (wich are also writen by community) . Addons on bedrock is a set of tool and utilities built by developers of the game in C++ . Datapacks on java is a set of tool and utilities built by developers of the game in Java . Mods can be extended by community with a new features (thus we now already have 4+ big modloaders with unique set of tools and utilities) . While both addons and datapacks can't be extended more than developers of game intended . So , thats it - same amount of flexebility . Ofcourse addons and datapack is not a same thing .

@@creepermoonman5964 I tested, you can play with addons that you’ve downloaded without wifi, however, you lose access to skins you made or bought…. Thankfully i have wifi but thats bogus. I can list many things that annoys me with mojang but i can deal with it because it doesn’t affect me that much. However, needing internet just to use your skin is annoying. Minecraft Legacy, wifi or no wifi, all the skins were there, whether or not you bought them. (Obviously you needed to buy the ones behind the paywall) they were all there….

I think in the next Minecraft update you should add ruby’s to the game (includes ruby armour and tools as well as ruby blocks and ruby shields ) and I think you should also add birds to the game as well and instead of just having iron shields you should add diamond shields netherite shields and gold shields and backpacks 🎒(that you can dye) and a new dimension where you can find a new boss and when you defeat it you unlock a new crafting recipe
