Maybe they don't like how they did the walls, i personally don't like the walls cuz their too thin but i still liked the video

For 0:50 i would reccomend acacia stairs with a orange pallete, bricks too. I tried and it looks POGCHAMP, Also the new deepslate will look amazing as a variety to the cobble and stone brick. Blackstone is nice too, can be used for shadowing.

Just another idea, but if you alternate between gravel, stone, andesite, and cobble for the path ground it will look like a lot of people have walked on it. So that it doesn’t look brand new. Still a great build👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

For the castle wall: you can use mossy cobblestone(found in villages), mossy stone bricks(just craft vines and bricks together) and and cracked stone bricks(made by melting stone bricks in a furnace) as well to make it look more colorful. And the surrounding walls can be done with /fill. If you don't know how to use it just ask and I will explain.
