I started playing like two or three versions before the adventure update dropped and when it was announced I remember being super hyped. Played it the day it dropped and it felt like a different game with the sprinting and whatnot. Hard to imagine minecraft these days without things like sprinting and the hunger meter. I do remember a lot people hating on this update when it came out however.

@@GunFunGF It introduced several so important game mechanics today. You couldn't sprint before the update and you didn't have the hunger bar. You would regenerate health with food instantly, so Cooked Pork would give 4 Hearts for example, but you didnt need food otherwise. This update introduced villages (if im not wrong) and ravines, as well as mineshafts with pumpkin and melon seeds in it. It had so much, this is the most important things I remember. I am not sure which update introduced the breeding of animals, it could also be this. But if you want to know more, you can look it up in the minecraft wiki explicitely :D

@@bayyakhraiki960 you might be misunderstanding which version this is, it was added in beta 1.8 (this isn't the bountiful update) while being in beta 1.7, beta 1.8 properly implemented it along with beef and chicken. fun fact: it also added chests that opened and closed, enderman, enchanting, villagers and mineshafts among loads more, so yeah it was quite important.

This was the update that defined minecraft. It's actually pretty heart warming seeing it grow from a small building blocks game to what it is today.

Such a huge change from beta 1.7.3, I always loved those two versions.

Why does KZread recommend me all the old Minecraft trailers in order?

Dude this was so long ago and now we get 1.19 mob votes, it's just like a time travel through Minecraft history really.
