This seems like an amazing mod, and one day I hope that scs sets their eyes on Australian Truck Simulator, although I know they’ve already got a lot on their plate

It could actually happen. Ets2 has almost peaked its full potential. Ats is still a fair way out from being completed. I would love to have a full Australian map from scs ats2?

hey Jeff, In Australia it’s much more common for us to say “Ks” pronounced “kays” instead of saying kilometres since its a large word to say. Enjoying the videos tho ❤️

Hey Zach!
You handle the right hand drive well, Jeff! Always blew my mind when I saw road trains like this on inland highways in Oz. The road grids are to prevent cattle wandering off the multi million acre cattle stations in that part of the world. When other vehicles stack up behind, Oz truckers use indicator lights to let them know it's safe to pass.
I am so glad to see you enjoying the map Jeff and appreciating the effort myself (as one of the main 3d modellers) have put into creating the new town signs and road markers. I hope to keep creating great content for the map, and I'm sure Rob does too, for you to enjoy, as well as many others. After all, if I never saw your original video I wouldn't have known the map existed. Thanks!
Yussssss. I love these outback episodes, the graphics are so plausible! Cheers jf
Loving the Australian videos. Funny to think that your train was actually the size of real life road trains
Lol that engine sound makes Jeff’s truck look intimidating to other truckers 😝!
Man I am hooked on the tv series outback truckers because of your recommendation. Thanks Jeff!
This would be so cool when MP is out to do with mates.

Well, out on the Outback, you don't really meet a lot of cars or trucks. And when you do, Road Trains put half their rig in the dirt if the occasion requires it. I recommend going to Australia and visiting a Road Train Assembly Area. 🤣 Also I think the GTM Enhancement Pack by Toaster is either standalone or needs to be above thr GTM T610.

You! Mate , have never met a road train in the outback have you ! Pffft them moving over, they don't move !!
Sad to hear about your bike experiences in Florida, but both of your safety comes first. I've always wanted to own a boat. I recently joined the State Emergency Service here in Australia, they just got a new boat and we got to take it out on the water to familiarise ourselves with it. It was so relaxing. I would definitely recommend it. Maybe it will open new opportunities and experiences for you. I also am loving these outback series, as I said I am in Australia so it's quite cool to see you're able to do this now. Loving the progress that Rob has done. Seeing kangaroos jump across the road, cows slowly going across. It really makes the map feel alive and real. I am even considering getting a truck licence because of your series. Love to be able to just drive to new towns I've never even thought of going, seeing Australia in full. Edit: Again with Rob and the map, he's done such amazing work. Put so much time to make it a perfect map. If you see this Rob, a big thank you for making this mod! Maybe SCS will hire you to make future maps, who knows. :)

Hey Jeff. Another great video. That’s for sure. St Thomas USVI is brilliant. Went there multiple time when I worked on Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. Great place to shop, chill, and plenty of great restaurants. Hope you enjoy it when you get there. The idea of you and Karen selling your bikes kinda stunned me at first, as I am a bike lover myself, but the idea of getting a boat is just a great idea. Enjoy, and thanks for the amazing videos
This mod looks amazing thanks for the vid Jeff!
The attention to detail is awesome! Such an epic mod
Myendetta Station is a real, presumably cattle as that's how it's modelled in this, cattle station. It is a single ranch. There are lots of gigantic cattle and sheep stations in Australia that cover millions of acres each. Some of them are as large as smaller American states. Naturally a lot of these require deliveries of certain goods in industrial quantities so a 160 ton road train of rock would be a pretty unusually small delivery for one of these places as, when it's the season for repairs and road remaking that stone would be gone in a few days...
Thx Jeff again for uploading these videos
Amazing video Jeff thank you for all the entertainment and enjoyment you bring also I would like you try to take a load in a storm that would be awesome to watch
Reminds me so much of outback truckers the tv show haha! And also can’t wait for those boat vlogs! Haha
Hey Jeff, I'm from Baltimore, grown up on the water, worked for a commercial crabber, owned a few boats and know some folks who've tried the boat club... They hated it. They were never able to get boats they wanted, or there were no open boats for when they wanted and they were very rarely able to get a last minute boat. My suggestion would be get a lightly owned used boat, and whatever length you think you want go up to the next size. Also do alot of research on how the boat you like is going to ride and handle the water, some small boats will beat you up and you'll hate boating. Stick with an outboard(Suzuki or Yamaha), stay away from the inboards, or inboard/outboard... I'll leave it there for now , otherwise I could go on forever! Let me know if I can help further,

Should Look into PWCs( JetSkies) basically like a bike on the water! Cheaper, easier to store, easier to maintain and a TON of fun. I got a seadoo GTR and its a blast to take it down to the Lake and rip it. super super fun

That was another awesome video I enjoyed that alot and I loved it and I been loving these outback videos cant wait for another one and goong to the Virgin Islands sounds like fun hope yall have fun and have s great trip when yall go and I think selling the bikes and joining a boat club would be pretty cool as well anyways keep up the great work much love to ya jeff have a good one take care god bless and I will see ya on the next one
Make sure to research the boat club you want to join and find out all the fees and whether you have to sign a contract. As long as you dont mind having to make a reservation a few days or weeks before, then a boat club makes sense to get your feet wet before owning a boat. The big disadvantage is that if you have a day reserved and the weather is crap, then you just missed out on a boating day. My wife and I live in Pinellas and sold our bikes after 7 years of ownership because the drivers have gone way down hill. We still have Groms and its fun to tool around on them around local streets.
Johnny Cash has done a wicked job with the engine mod!
Appreciated The Sims reference towards the end there, lol.
Love the video
Great video Jeff
Man this might turn into a series!
Love the videos
Love the content, and don't mean to minimize your situation at all, but imagine how wildly frightening riding a motorcycle is in New Jersey. Roughhhhh.
Not a driver, but been around a few truckers here in Australia and to my knowledge, 100 km/h is the highest limit over here, and speed limiters are set at 100 km/h as well (give or take 1 km/h depending on tyre pressure)
I would love to see SCS do Australian Truck Simulator one day :) it would be very cool to see.
There’s 2 great days as a boat owner. The day you buy it and the day you sell it! Just join the club IMO
My personal opinion regarding boats is you should give the boat club a try and see if the boating life is for you. Do research to see what type of boating you are most interested in. Fishing? Skiing? Tubing? Surfing? See what fits best for what yall want before buying one. And pontoons. I hate them lol loading them on a trailer sucks sometimes lol
Jeff I highly recommend Magens bay in St. Thomas. It is so beautiful. When we went there was sea turtles everywhere. The culture there in St. Thomas is kind of very different then most USA states have for culture lol. I do not remember if St. Thomas is as bad as other islands in the Caribbean. But I know the Bahamas specifically were trying to sell you everything you have when you got off the cruise ship. Anyways St. Thomas is so beautiful I hope you enjoy your trip.
I drive a ken T908 B-double for work.. 😂 you're not missing out
I'm from Barcelona, Catalonia. I hope you still had a good time even if there was a bit of culture shock... it's very different from the rest of Spain, or what most people think Spain is.
Jeff, first of all, hi from Finland and second, are you gonna make this as a series, because it would really cool :P

I don't think Jeff has played Euro Truck Sim for ages though, so I'm not sure where the Austrian truck train vids are.
Hey Jeff... The two best days in a boatie's life are (1) the day you buy your boat and (2) the day you sell it. By far, the most cost-effective way to go boating is to have a mate with a nice boat. (This info comes from an ex-boatie who hasn't ridden his motorbike in ages). Definitely, join a club like you say...
These truck games are the best keep up the good work im also doing my first video of mobile cod
You should try out kriechbaum's new Mack e6 sound; would be awesome for a superliner with pipes like that 😁
Jeff, for someone who has lived on the water all my life, I would recommend buying a boat. as long as you take good care of the boat and winterize it right, it shouldn’t really be anymore hassle than a car. The only real difference is power washing the hull after it has been in the water for a long period of time.
@jonrex2618
2 жыл бұрын
To add on, you can also bring it wherever you want. For instance if your going up the coast, you don’t have to rely on someone else for a boat.
I love the video
Need to get myself this map!
Idk if you ever went fishing but if you get a boat you start making fishing videos, I'll enjoy those👍
I got so excited and thought you said st Maarten I was definitely gonna recommend maho beach where the planes land and take off right over the beach 🏖 amazing experience…you guys are gonna love st Thomas though absolutely beautiful island and the people are great 👍 not sure where at in st Thomas you’ll be but check out a chill spot called iggies beach bar very nice spot, food is good and they have live entertainment from the locals sometimes
I wonder when they're going to put PA in the game.. would be awesome to see you driving in my home state Jeff! I think you would like it

This reminds me of when I visited America. Driving on the wrong side of the road, that’s easy. Driving on the wrong side of the vehicle… that’s hard!
Hope you are well too Jeff
My dad used to do this for a job for many years for mining sites in Western Australia
Hello Jeff I like the sound of the truck and the road train, I don’t know how to float gears you should buy the kenworth t908 by rta modding
Would rather drive a Mack then a KW any day. Really good looking truck and trailer pack.
Your great trucker
wow what beast truck
You are the you make me laugh and happy
I wish you luck on your island vacation trip. I don’t know much about those islands, as I have never been outside my home state as my parent never had the money or time to travel like that, so in school I was kinda jealous of my classmates who could travel but I got over thinking well I could travel once I save up the money 💴 . So yah take care and stay safe out there. Also take photos while there Leave nothing but your foot prints behind. But yah enjoy and hope the photographer of the group has the camera because there never a wasted offer or opportunity for a photo. Take care everyone and stay safe out there. Also loved the Australian map from the Truck sim. Makes me feel like I visiting Australian just in a virtual world and not real life because don’t have the money 💴 for that time, and well COVID-19 has stopped anyone traveling the world plans for quite a while.
B.O.A.T. = Break Out Another Thousand. As a long time boat owner, I'm gonna go with it's not worth it. Charter / Rent a boat as needed. Unless you decide to circumnavigate the world, charter a boat for fishing, rent or charter a boat for diving, use a car / plane for travel. A boat is a quick way to blow tons of money via operating / maintenance costs. If you insist on getting one, get a 20-25 ft sailboat to become a right proper sailor. Stay away from power boats unless you want to drop a ton of money.
Jeff I think it would be super cool if you got the guys together and do a race in the trucks. Maybe have to go somewhere and drop a load and race back. I know how much you and bugs love to race.
Hi, there Jeff the top speed that trucks can do in the land of Aus is 100 km and it looks so tell and I am planning to get it so stay safe.
I think it's time to invest in a harness for that seat Jeff lol

Virgin Islands! I am from the British Virgin Islands! I enjoy your Vids!
Boats are commonly underestimated in terms of work, when it comes to owning one for yourself. So, I respect your idea to join a club, and rent ones, however, this eventually becomes costly, and majority of people I know that ended up doing this, either want to do something that they can't, because they are limited to certain boats that are available at the club -- OR, they don't use it as much as they thought they would. Coming from a person that happens to open one, and has a place at a lake nearby, we use one frequent enough to justify actually owning one for ourselves. So, if you believe that you're actually intending on using a boat as often as you would have with your motorcycle, it's a great idea, but if you aren't, and are kind of on the slopes, and don't know how much you'll actually take the service, it's probably best to not. Nonetheless, boats are a damn fun toy to have accessible, owning or renting, they're a blast, and there's certainly a lot of content to be made on them, especially in Florida.
Jeff you should drive the Kenworth KW 200 as well as its an Australian only truck. RTA Mods have that one as well.
here is a tip use the right side of the mack dog as a guide for keeping it on the truck to the left and freaking the ai out

I have a personal story about a motorcycle. I was about 6 years old. My mom had a old astro conversion van. And, we were on vacation. We were making a left turn out of a alley way. And, at the same time we were pulling out. The light where these two motorcyclists turned green. One ended up going behind us. And, the guy who went in front of us. Got his handle bar caught in the grill. But, he ended up losing in the court battle due to his buddy dying in a motorcycle accident 6 months after his.
speed is good, but i personally would go about 2 clicks down on the smoothness of the trackir. just for viewers sake. just my opinion of course. great stuff as usual. cheers ✌
