The thing is, for some of those who are complaining about some of the designs, in a RTS, both timing (Which in mindustry seems to not be so big of a thing, at least, not yet) and speed are stronger than efficency. If fixing something, or using a different, slower to build infraestructure, isnt mandatory, then you'll probable be better off just leaving things as they are and invest that time into building more systems rather than improving old ones, as most of the time you'll get a time/impact ratio by doing more things. The exception is, when a material is hard to obtain in your current point in the game, in which case getting it in the most efficent way will be better just because it is the only option at that point. As soon as building more is an option, improving old things kinda stops being worth, unless they straight cease to work (In which case, fixing them might take you less time than building a new system, but will have the same impact)

@@kewlsanic That is the ideal scenario you wanna get with practice and/or premade designs. It takes time to reach that level and the game is kinda young, but in most RTS the community and the pros already reached that point, so eventually the same thing will happen with mindustry

But he was very slow in building, he did not have a standardized mine design which would have saved so much time to rush silicon

This looks so much easier on pc. Fumbling with the controls on mobile is such a pain in the ass

@@parasniper7337 it's about out-progressing your enemies ignoring order, it's chaotic even if you're experienced in Mindustry

I've not yet had the bottle to play multiplayer, so videos like this are a great way to see what to expect. I also discovered how to use the thermal generator! (Finally) I probably could have searched but I forgot it existed.

I have played the older versions without the Mechs and "campaign" thing, and when I came back to play I saw the changes and, I was like wtf happened? And stopped playing since I thought it was better before. Then after alot of time, I saw this and was like, bruh, that may be actually good. So I started once again. It's still hard to get understanding of new stuff, but I was inspired by this, so thank you!

Some people make really crazy schematics in the discord, if you dont know how to use the "medium" things like sorter, overflow and that, you dont want to meet the processors xD

@@craftlofer9974 no processor is fricking destroying the game, the more knowledge about it it became much easier in a long run. Because the traditional schem without processor is a must!, No fricking customize and change the behaviour of one particular block or unit, such a shame anuke!

Instant sub i really love this game im just REALLY bad at it especialy on phone this was fun to watch

multiplayer PVPs are so much fun that i even stayed awake to 5 am on 1 intense match because of how much they are fun

Looking back on this game. I was playing back in the time of when this game was new, no mindustry classic, fresh out of monstrosity jam. I saw the "join beta" button, clicked, downloaded beta. Then there it was: mindustry v4, and it was beutiful. No pixelated graphics, just what this video is but younger

Lancers are definitely overused in PVP, (esp in hex war maps) but that's because they're easy to set up yet kind of overpowered for their cost. Their range is actually greater than it shows because the beam pierces through it's target. Also the shield projector does nothing to prevent Lancer damage!

This was fascinating and I feel like I’m a better player just from watching.

I wish they would add a miner drone upgrades to mine more stuff And maybe you can select the desired ore you wanna mine with a miner drone to make stuff look more tidy and then select if it would go to a core or a container or vault

I only half knew what was going on because i played the original. Game changed a lot. Nice base, decently efficient. I played a fuckton back then and i had mastered building self sufficient colonies that defend me from enemies.

This isn't a mod,it's just back in version 5 of mindustry. Draug miners are called monos now in v6, and revenants are called zeniths now.

moral of the story protect the flank

This game is the closest to the AOE2 feeling ive had since I played it on a CRT I beat with a bat bc it broke during a match. Good times.

also steam generators are good just need a combustion generator to jumpstart a water drill and it produces 360 elec so u can now make 5 of those stean gens

only thing, routers are slow and usually the faster underflows or overflows serve the same purpose. That finish is great, took me a second to realize
