It's not an addiction unless it causes you problems and you keep doing it anyway. So I've been clean from hard drugs for over 66 months now, but I definitely impulsively buy fragrances lol

Thanks for covering this niche house and this fragrance, I've never heard of either! The notes make this one sound really interesting! Mango, tomato leaf, mango blossom, cyclamen, etc. Sounds awesome.

I never tried something from this house but the mind games sound very nice 👌 . Nice presentation, Ash!

For $345, it better smell nothing short of amazing or considered a masterpiece. I've realized higher priced fragrances absolutely does not mean it's great smelling or worth the pricetag. My $100-$150 fragrances are some of the best and it definitely outshines the ones in the $300+ range. I do appreciate the video/review, Ash.

If you like this just get Nishane Hacivat.. it smells very very similar, for atleast 1/3rd the price.

I discovered this fragrance when I got some samples from Neiman Marcus and I fell in love right away!!! I'm definitely going to be getting a bottle as soon as possible!!

I wore this on one arm and J'Adoube on the other. This is more my speed but I stepped out of my comfort zone and bought J'Adoube. I have no regrets. Incredible patchouli scent... but part of me still wants Blockade.

Totally agree with this video!

This smells like a niche version of mont blanc explorer.

Definitely wait for a clone or it to hit discounters!! They just have a nice looking bottle and it’s expensive so realistically people can post online about how great it is just for a status symbol!! Instead of Blockade save your coins and buy NISHANE Hacivat! Trust me! Even the sales rep at Neiman Marcus agreed with me.

This brand is making the free bottle-influencer rounds,, for sure.

I’ve been wanting Grand Master from Mind Games since I first smelled it inside Neiman Marcus right around their release date. I also liked Blockade and Double Attack. Been hoping to pick up Grand Master for a better price than $345, but just haven’t had an opportunity present itself. Wish this house would hit discounters

@@stevebenjamin9573 I’ve tried about half of the ATH, line, all of the Mindgames and 4 of the Vertus. Vertus is the best of the bunch, especially Monarch at $120 or so. ATH utilizes way too much Ambroxan and IsoE in his bases and they come off smelling disjointed. Mindgames is just essentially a high end clone house at ridiculous prices. They smelled fine but should be about 75% cheaper

Mind games black Collection is very good my favorite is Double Attack and my second is Grandmaster

was curious, would it be redundant to own this if you own aventus? obviously it has a denser concentration but if the performance is mainly the only difference well... lol

I have a travel size of grandmaster and it is amazing. I’m thinking of going for blockade because grandmaster is a winter scent and it’s April now. I think I’ll wait till it cools off to get Grandmaster… it cost 375 now 😮🥴

I think it’s so similar that if you own aventus you shouldn’t spend the money on blockade and vice versa unless you just got the money to spend

To me it’s Aventus. The first few seconds it almost feels like it has pineapple but then it shifts into mango.

How’s the performance?

Since this appears to be a mango centric fragrance, how would you compare it to other niche mango scents like Mango Kiss and God of Fire, both by Stephane Humbert Lucas? Thanks.

I know there’s a note of mango in God Of Fire, it’s not truly a mango fragrance. Like Mango isn’t the star of the show.

I ordered a 10 mill vial from scent split. The scent is 10/10 absolutely. On me performance is 6/10 and projection is 4/10. I was even wondering if scent split waters down their samples.

Mind games are excellent I liked all of them but 2. I bought an atomizer set with all 10. Blockade and JAdoube are my favorites. Get your nose on JAdoube you will be blown away

It smells really good, super fresh and it’s awesome BUT it doesn’t last. On skin it lasts 2 hours of good projection, 3 hours is GONE.

I went to Neiman Marcus and tried checkmate. Wow that’s a nice one hold to your bridges. I’m going to have to try this one

The way you described Blockade is almost how I would describe J’adoube. Have you tried that one? I would love your feedback on that fantastic fragrance from the Mindgames line.

Aargh...another picture of a makrut lime to illustrate bergamot. I have no idea how it began, but this mistake used to be nearly universal on fragrance youtube. Lately I've been seeing actual pics of bergamots and thought we'd moved beyond this mistake but apparently not. Makrut limes and bergamots look and smell utterly unlike each other. It's not that hard to show a bergamot when you're illustrating a bergamot note.

This niche house are rip off this scent cost 330$ before tax nothing special it’s same perfume from Vilhelm morning chess for 150$ just a bit twisted of mango but same perfume they can do better not for that price
