Best UMX ever, I love mine. With the smaller 300mah 3S it will totally hover, and does big graceful loops with ease. I love my UMX Timber but this one feels like more of a real plane. Perfect for driveway and parking lot air shows, and people always love seeing it!

IF 1 was to put the lil pitts esc & battery in the umx timber, it would be amazing! 👍 (I have thought about it. Esc/rx board is almost AS much as a new plane🤯🤷)

@@old-rcplane-phart That would be interesting! I think the “real plane” thing has a lot to do with aerodynamics and weight, the Timber has so much wing that it sometimes feels like a paper plate with a brushless motor during aerobatic flight. Still a great plane, mine’s going strong after 6 years or so :)

I like it a lot but I also like my A-10 a lot too.
That’s a really nice plane. I wonder how it will do at the beach. That plane is a screaming on full throttle. Great job.

sweet plane ! nice flight...
A grass takeoff might work with a lighter battery.
I'd try it on the left side of the platform and I think it will fly a little better
3s 450mah venom is perfect! IF u have a Tonneau cover on your truck, i take mine off sideways 👍😁 (Long ways is no challenge!) Too much mah pack affects the inverted capabilities. HH says 300mah. My 450mah goes 10+ minutes, & hands off inverted flight.

As small as that plane is, just get a yoga mat, roll out it out and you have a mini runway. Plus, it will test you skill trying to land on it
