I’m glad I saw this for a few reasons. First it proves that the “friendly” army is not always the victor because in many cases people only send in their victories not their defeats. To build on that it shows good sportsmanship to broadcast a defeat because it was in fact a good defeat. And lastly I’m glad I saw it because it was simply impressive with very unorthodox but effective moves. Love this channel

First Horde faction full sally that I have seen. Was really nice. I have been playing the Taras campaign for Rome two and have realized how good heavy melee cav is verse medium and lite infantry. I destroyed a 20 stack light infantry army withba few slingers and some medium spears with 2 mercenary vet hoplite, 4 Hippeus cav and 1 archer cav

Enjoying it as always. Looks like you upgraded your graphics card -- looks amazing, motion picture worthy.

First off the new music is great thumbs up for me with the cinematic. It was a very unusual battle. Clearly this was practice or to prepare for TWL or something. It is highly unusual to have two horse factions on defense. In the lobby you see this and you say number one massive sally out and two pergamon ardei or other cavalry counter factions. Interesting tactic to attack on both flanks as oppose to both sally out to attack one let’s say just arveni or just rome. Desert rome should’ve immediately pushed everything up to the walls with towers because there was no inner defense. Unusual replay with ultra aggressive defense. Let’s put this video under high risks high reward category. Definitely entertaining. Horse factions super tough to manage and micro. Excellent replay and commentary Joe that is a tough one to watch and comment because of the cav. Keep up the great work.

it is true we were using these armies to practice our micro for TWL but this was mostly for fun and to see if we could win with these strange armies, we got pretty close.

First off good luck to you in TWL. I think I have played a game or two with you before I probably got crushed. I think it was definitely fun horse factions are so difficult to micro manage. I think if desert rome never got into the settlement and it was a pure outside battle I agree with you that you may have won. Your two horse factions plus the Iceni ambushers plus a sally out of Iceni remaining units may have worked. There was no intention of guarding the VP at all which is perfectly fine. Suggestion for you and your team when it comes to horse factions I have noticed when they are on attack They are only picked on big settlements such as Roma Athens and Kath. On defense it’s best used on barb settlements with trees in the back for delayed counterattacks. Again entertaining battle and best of luck for you and your team in TWL.

Joe, i just only saw the intro, but i have to say already that the intro was better than great many intros of youtubers with millions and millions of subs. That was insane!!! Rome got completely mugged by Massagetae going full Rohan on them backed up by those crazy ambushers! If those gallics could have been taken out quicker I think that might have saved Scythia enough to see it out. Soooo much fun to watch! 😍

I called it on a comment maybe last month...as defending have one army to dedicate to ambushing...and your teammates Sally out with lots of cavalry. It's a good recipe for disaster for the attackers unless they know you well and expect it 🎉 awesome fight

How do I send you replays? I played a game where our 3rd teammate left and the Suebi AI did absolutely nothing like only got 300 kills and me and the other player still managed to beat 3 armies with 2 armies. Its a great battle replay and I would be honored if you replay it.
