Lived in Australia where the Banksia plant grows and that is a pod that they used to make that little vase I bought Banksia pods that were turned into Christmas ornaments.
I have an American Indian wedding vase my sister's friend, who is an Inuit indian from Alaska, made fir my husvand and I veten she first moved to Seattle. That is definitely an Indian wedding vase! Apparently, during the ceremony, both the bride and groom will drink from the the vase as part of their vows. Very cool! ( : Great find. ( : Awwww...hi willow! She is so cute! ( : She looks so happy! I've made a mini jar of shells on a necklace for my cousin once. it was shells i collected at a beach so she could have it since she likes mermaids, shells, and stuff.
Great finds. I don't think you'll regret buying the tub of Legos. I'm so jealous of you being able to hit all those thrift stores. Now I really can't wait to go on vacation. Keep Hustlin'!!
Oo Kayla, the little test tubey jars are going to be great for so many of your jewelry bits 'n pieces!

I just sold 70lbs of Lego raw with mini figs. Sold it all for 350 plus shipping. Could have made way more if I went through it all. However my toddler kept dumping bags out so it had to go. Still doubled my $$$
Love watching you! Finding thrift stores that aren't Goodwill is Wonderful.. So much Fun! WOW~ you are Compatible signs.. No wonder you get along so well. COOL..
It's good to know that the Lego instruction books sell. I kept all of my son's in plastic sleeves in a binder. 🎉
Looks like I need to go through my 2 totes of Legos! I have a lot of mini-figs & accessories along with assorted Lego bricks.
In the Lego instruction books is an inventory list of parts needed for the set. If it looks like you have most of the parts, it can be beneficial to see if you can complete the set. I have found several $100+ sets in one bag of legos from goodwill, several times. For me it’s like a treasure hunt!

Nice time at the thrift stores and you found great items. The Legos were an amazing find! Good luck with your thrifting while in Beaufort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

New sub here ... WOW y'all have a good Habitat for Humanity restore. Ours is only building product. We do have a lot of thrift stores in our area. Like 15 in a 30 mile radius! Between Goodwill, American Rescue Workers, Salvation Army and the independent owned. Thanks for taken us along w ya! We are heading out to hit ours tomorrow. Keep em coming, you're a joy to watch. Here in Central PA. Blessings ~ 🧶
Hi Guys really enjoy your videos, learning lots about lego prices, I work in a thrift shop in outback Australia, we call them op shops here, everything this week is $1, unless it's marked 50 cents. I love going to work, the bargains are unreal. You would love it, we do get lots of resellers, we don't care as they spend heaps of money. We also have bag sales $5 a bag, fill it up. love from Oz
I just dropped off 2 bins of kids clothes and a stroller to a local thrift store; I hope other kids can gain from it. 😊
3:20 that is a shoe shaper. It keeps shoes shaped to prolong life of shoes 😊 23:00 string art was very popular in the 70s
the wooden thing you show at 8mins is a banksia scent pot, yw 😆

Jules, you're so funny! Fun checking out shops. Myrtle Beach used to look more like that. It's pretty, but you do know Spanish Moss is a parasite, don't you. It will eventually kill/damage trees. I suppose you could display some on a piece of driftwood safely. I liked the book for some reason, and the onyx?marble? eggs. Blessings, Cat

The oil burner is made from a banksia pod.

String art has made a resurgence recently. Personally, I don't get it, because when I was a kid in the 70s, I didn't.like them. But the scenery is beautiful, and most of the prices are good. Nice stuff!
Could the fuzzy stuff on your wood candle holder be moss?

Oh hi Willow. Sweet baby girl. Hope she’s having some fun too!
On the episode I am watching now your wife pick up a oil burner, she says it feels like wood that is actually from Australia, it made from what the call a Banksia seed pod they are really cool to turn them on a lathe!
Your dog looks like a real cuddle bug!
Couldn't believe you were hesitant over the Lego. I used to be into buying hand bags clutch bags but my girlfriend just ends up owning them, well their mine and she has them on loan , permanent loan

That lego box would be so fun to look through while on Vacation! Total score just in entertainment value.
The Derelict restaurant in Beaufort... not sure it's still in business... but it was terrific many years ago...
At 12:57, that is a piece of fused glass. It likely would have been a good pickup.
Logitech stopped selling the Harmony remotes and hubs around 2021. They are great remotes and stiil in demand. I have one i still use but beware I don't think the software to use them is being updated any longer for newer electronics. I can't use it with my new TV, it just wont respond to some of the buttons. The software could not find an exact match to my TV so i tried another model that was similar. Same thing with my Apple TV 4k ( newest model).
Nail art pictures 👍
From SC we call it Dirty Myrtle and Hilton head island is my favorite to go my dad and dad hunted on vacations lol
Love your channel! For some reason I have to subscribe every time I watch. I don’t understand that! Sometimes I watch on my phone and sometimes TV. Maybe that is the cause of the problem. Shout out to others .., they may want to double check to make sure you weren’t unsubscribed too. ❤
Looks like you had fun.
7:44 That is a banksia seed pod from Australia. People make all sorts of cool things with them.

Yes to the Legos. Are the other ones Mega Blocks? My son collected those sets, also. The bases, alone, are worth money. My sister lives in Blufton, SC right across the bridge from Hilton Head. I want to go down there now and go to the shops that you have been going to.
It called a metronome, and omg that 1970 foxy brown music is LOUD I feel like I'm in a bad porn haaa
Love the Spanish moss!
We have a Pass It On store here in PA.
At 7:56 the object is called Banksia nut. Its a seed pod that home lathe enthusiasts like to use
The "wood"thing is an Australian banksia nut... a native plant.
That thing that looked like wwood is a cone from a banksia tree that's been turned. Haha, I'd just finished writing this when you did the voice over😆.
I recently discovered your channel and love it! Question, what app do you use to price search and item?!
Hilton Head is very nice!!
Would not have bought those eggs but would have definitely looked up that dish you called murano!
If it’s like in Tennessee, people have a habit of taking things out of boxes and spreading pieces all over the place. Not sure what they think they’re doing by doing it. They also tend to try to change prices on items. It’s aggravating.
What was the little brass cup on a pole in the gold bag? Fun to go through when on vacation.
Honestly I would have bought those eggs small eggs like that can go for $20 a piece and those were like dinosaur eggs get a little stand and a glass shield for one and its a dinosaur collectors center piece 😅

lol I was thinking about it ! They were huge
Lego can be big money but lots are time consuming to separate. I find it fun because I build along the way (also good to show a finished picture of a set in the listing) but some people don't.
Julian yes you are getting old if you can't hear or think when music is loud, lol 😂😅. Nice find on the Lego bin. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
Kayla, Julian I’m way up here in the upper balcony. Really I’m in Reno 🎉😊
Hey I'm local to your area I was wondering if you guys know any places with good book supplies around MB or if the stores you seen on your trip had good book sections? I've been thinking about traveling the grand strand area to Thrift any input would be helpful also I was wondering how do you guys get your info on the yard sales in our area?
I had to drive ambulance to repair shop...I worked for auto transport.....it was getting dark dusk.....I was so creeped out driving that...I kept thinking Dr Lecter silence of the lambs...Soo f__ creeped out out my skin was crawling...
There used to be a great thrift store on hwy.17 in Pawleys Island.
That first book reminds me that I just can’t figure out how so many books are sold for $4 with FREE shipping!!! The media mail is close to $5 alone. What is the point of losing money on every sale?
That String art reminds me of Prison Artwork, not that I’ve ever been in prison but I just remember back in the early 80’s prison art was a big thing😅
@beardedthriftmachine I’m in the upstate and would love to know if you have any favorite spots around the Greenville/Anderson/Greenwood area? Also, the Goodwill at Chuck Dawley and Ben Sawyer in Mount Pleasant always has some great finds!
Some of those Tumi for Delta stuff could be expired so watch out for those. Nice finds though!
“Look under her skirt.” OMG LMAO
Awe Willow was so sweet ! Y'all are finding some cool stuff . I hope you took time to rest and rejuvenate !!
How did you do that partial screen shot at 17:44? Seems very useful

I woulda been finding a way to make room for that Callaway bag! lol Easy money
Where do you look up those prices online?
