We had heard rave reviews of how spectacular Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico is, but honestly nothing could have properly prepared us for just how enormous, grand and overwhelming this experience would be.
We entered through the Natural Entrance, gradually descending some 700' all the-while constantly picking our jaws off the floor at the incredible stalactites and stalagmites. The seemingly endless descent into the abyss crescendos when you reach "The Big Room," a cavity the size of 6 football fields, chock full of mind-blowing formations!
