I'm 76 years old American Lady & I've been watching Korean Dramas for 3 years. I stumbled upon them through Heavens Garden & was so touched by the ccx story continued on. So many of their Customs have penetrated my being & changed my way of thinking & the way of looking at life. I'm blessed in so many ways of opening my heart to life.

"Legendary means i am old" 😘😘😘

Saw this at Sundance. One of the most heartwarming and clever films about the immigrant family experience in America I’ve ever seen. Acting and cinematography are superb. Look for it in 2020!

First generation Korean immigrants who watch this movie must have identified themselves with Steven's family & wet their eyes. This film truly heals the hurt feelings still deeply held by the immigrants especially by young children who couldn't even understand why they were bullied just because they are from minorities. I'm sure this film helps those who still encounter incredible challenges as first generation immigrants families. With respect to all the staff who poured their hearts creating this great piece. Thank you.

Tears form in my eyes just by watching two minutes of this movie trail, Minari. I feel as if they are about to talk about my struggling life story as an immigrant in America. No, maybe all three million Korean-American life stories, or perhaps all immigrants real-life stories. If this two-minute-long trail stops my heart instantly, I don't know how on earth I can watch the full length of this movie on Nov. 20th.

미나리~~ 미나리는 지저분한 물에서도 쑥쑥 자라고 병충해에 강하고 혈액을 맑게 정화함. 고수랑 같은,,family인데 한국인들에게는 미나리가 익숙한 식재료임.(물론, 호불호는 있지만~)

amazing interview! It's hard to believe that Dir. Lee Isaac Chung originally thought his story was boring. And it's also overwhelming to think he had no one like him in literature to draw from. Now that he has created this movie, so many people will be able to draw connections to his work. He has created something so original, yet so relatable.

미국에 산다고 수십년을 살아도 그저 통밥으로 하는 거지 저렇게 무대에서 당당하게 자신감을 갖고 말할수 있는건 또 다른 차원입니다 그것도 과거에 살았다는 것이지 계속 쓰면서 산게 아니기에 저정도의 언어 구사력이면 대단한 거지요.

처음엔 독립영화인 걸 알고 안하고 싶으셨대요. 독립영화면 고생할 게 뻔해서.. 한국서 연기 오래했고 나이가 많아서 이제 힘든 것도 안하고 싶으셨다고.. ㅋㅋㅋ 제작비 아끼느라 같이 살고 같이 밥먹고 하면서 진짜 가족이 됐었다고 하십니다. 너무 솔직히 말씀하셔서 기자들이 빵빵 터지네요.

앞부분에 감독님이 윤여정씨는 전설적인 배우다 라고 하니까 "전설적이란 건 늙었다는 말이예요" 라고 농담하셨어요. 윤여정 배우님 영어 이렇게 잘 하시는 줄 몰랐네요.
