Minardi M192 F1 Car Warming Up its Lamborghini V12 Engine!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is a 1992 Minardi M192 Formula 1 car and it's powered by one of the best sounding F1 engines: a Lamborghini LE3512 3.5-liter V12! And I can't hide that's one of the car I'm hoping to record the most in action on track.
But at least this time I was able to record a soft warm up during the 2017 Historic Minardi Day at Imola Circuit where Giancarlo Minardi, founder of the Minardi F1 team, had his first F1 driving experience behind the wheel of this M192 for a brief parade lap.

I have to thank immensely my friends and youtubers Italiansupercarvideo ( / italiansupercarvideo ) and Davide458Italia ( / davide458italia ) for letting me use their great shots taken during the event.

V12 LAMBORGHINI...wasn't so faster but SOUND was so magical...

"Wasn't so fast" It was the most powerful engine of all teams, but Chrysler did Chrysler things and made it insanely unreliable

??? Umm... It was fast enough for Senna to request that it run the last 3 races of the 1989 F1 season!

@@user-mx1fq6qm6i Even though Chrysler acquired the company, it had nothing to do with Lamborghini development just like VW is right now.
I was just driving the M191 in Assetto Corsa @ Paul Ricard. VR, motion, direct drive, 4 ButtKickers, AioLogs SQ....pretty incredible. If you can’t do it in real life, might as well do it virtually.
Imagine Lamborghini enters F1 as engine supplier and have contract with Red Bull Bull engine powering bull car, that's sounds amazing
this is Incredible, as Murray walker would say. i still cant believe that Chrysler spun off Lamborghini. in hindsight, it was the possibly one of the most worst decisions they ever made. i always love your videos, and they always brighten up my day/night.

This wasn't a big mistake, as Chrysler could've killed Lamborghini, but then VW saved Lamborghini from bankruptcy

One of the few things that shows the age of the engine. Imagine a slightly more modern version of this engine, with throttle by wire and dual injection, it would be pure bliss!
Watched and listened to the 16 cylinder engine at the Australian Grand Prix in 1989 I think it was. Glorious howl as it went down the straights!
Dream drive for me would definitely be a late 80’s F1 car, non turbo. Just for the intensity and extreme rawness before they started to get sanitised and easier to drive. Any of them would do 😆
Mean looking and sounding car. Beautiful engine.
sounds alot like an aventador but a little more high picthed

Sounds so good
i'd, like to see one of the Lotus or Lola-Lambos in action, they were great looking cars and sounding absolutely amazing, even if Lambo's F1 efforts achieved anything worth writing home about. (Apart from Aguri Suzuki at Suzuka in '90, though even that was later disqualified by a particularly spiteful outburst of vindictiveness by the FIA.)
Fantastic piece of racecar.
What a great soundtrack, Bozzy!💕👂 I hope you get a chance to capture this machine on track at full song some day... a little bit for me, but mostly for you. You deserve that.😉 Love your videos, sir.✌

Spettacolo. Questa era la vera F1.
A little funfact : that code name was a same as Porsche-footwork V12 F1 & Subaru - Motori Moderni Flat-12 engine (upside-down named, 1235)
I know all old f1 cars smoke a bit on start up but this is rediculous for a early 90s car. They were not fast, yet not reliable, but they sounded so damn good.
Might have been rubbish but damn if it doesn't sound spectacular! Come on, where is the on-track footage? :) If I had the chance to drive this or one of the current generation of Grand Prix cars, I'd choose this in a heartbeat!
i wanna see this old cars race again for old times sake.... i'll buy that for a dollar!
damn that sounds good

Ted Crilly firstly you need to do some homework not just google random stuff and throw mechanical terminology out there. Secondly what was the purpose of pointing out a throttle system?

Nice car the owner is Frits van Eerd there were some problems with the car in the weekend but at the last day the car run some laps
I wonder , do they pre warm the oil just like the tires ? Reason why , an engine rebuild onone of these is somewhere between $ 150 , 180 K , so it might be a good idea to properlywarm the thing up .
Awesome video! Will there be footage of it on the track?

Amazing V12 sound! What are they using this Makita blowers for?
@azynkron

They are blowing cool air into the intakes. F1 cars have no fans so they depend on movement to get the air flowing. Stand still and it overheats in minutes.
@youwantshum9860

BadTrip you smoking crack or something? The blower is for heating up the manifolds. Nowhere near the intake...
With all that smoke, i thought it had a cracked head or a blown head gasket or something. I mean condensation is one thing, but damn.

f1s like a video game live now. You watch any clip from the 80s , 90s even early 2000s and you see proper drivers. bloddy drs should be banned theres always been overtaking in f1 its just back then it took proper skill from the very best drivers to achieve it now its just a push of a button.

LAMBORGHINI (what a great motor Forghieri designed) and LUTZ THE PUTZ... LUTZ was a salesman... He never grasped the F1 opportunity for both he and Chrysler... also the development side of engineering he did not understand... MISSED OPPORTUNITY... AGAIN! and Ron Dennis didn't listen to Senna!
