I love how she's helping his son become independent because I see so much people like him depending too much on other to do things

@@sarah3412 well autism is a spectrum not all autistic people are genius savants or highly intelligent so min does need to be taught all these things. She's teaching him so he can do it himself in the future

I guess any mum will treat their kids as a child and with min' s autism she's more likely to treat him as a child so yh I agree she doesn't have to treat him as a child but she maybe did it to be extra sure he understood how to do things in their new home. From my point of view it was her patiently teaching him but from your it looked like she was treating him like a child. Do you have any suggestions on how to teach someone with autism because my first instinct is to do what she did? Maybe you, an autistic person, can give some insight? 😊

@@sarah3412 I guess I didn't see anything wrong with it cause it reminds me of my mum trying teaching me something but I'm not paying attention and just wandering off lol 😂🤣guess I'm being treated as a kid or I am a kid😂 Everyone has different boundaries, if min feels uncomfortable I hope he can express that to his mum in the future 🤞

@@sarah3412 not every person with autism have the same ability to do things. For you it might be easier but for him we don’t know. Stop making assumption based on some videos. She is his mother who has raised him alone since he was little she surely knows how to treat him better than anyone else.

This is so touching yet it hurts, knowing that even tho we all know what to do there is still part of us that we are not ready when our parents leave us. We can do and live our life but we all know there is still missing..

I became so happy when they were showcased in the show, it opens a lot of doors for the korean people. I hope everyone can be more understanding. Not gonna lie, I cried a lot

I like her so much, teaching her son do the chores for himself is such a tedious task. But instead she does it with a smile on her face. That is what we called love. She acts like a mother too to Lisa in their journey in a TV series.

Yoona is really amazing, she not just come to the show for cooking. But she also inspiring people, make people open their eyes to pay more attention to disability people. So proud of her.

the video she did for min was so touching i cried. she rlly was worried for her son. imagine her reason for being in this show is also to have somewhere to show min how to cook when shes not here anymore. at least there's a proof somewhere in the world that mom still loves min and wants the best for min. omg that's so touching

its heartwarming how the audience supportive,even though we know how basic it is,but her patience is amazing.

I'm actually crying 😭. I have never understood how love works until I saw that Yoonah made videos to help her son while she is not around. She wants to make sure Min is always okay even when she is not around.

Just seeing how much min has grown and how he’s becoming more independent is heartwarming. She is such a great mom.

She is a tough, strong, resilient yet warm person. I respect her so much..

It’s hard raising a child. It’s even harder for her and other parents with special children. Kudos to them!

to people who don’t have any relative or don’t know someone with autism, and you’re thinking that the kid is lazy or mean and ungrateful, please don’t think this way. i have an autistic brother who is really smart but just needs a little help with things he’s unfamiliar with and while learning new things he stresses out and acts a certain way, try to understand that they need to be understood not judged. about mins mother she’s an angel, i think this way about my mother too since she helps out my brother a lot and understands better than us (siblings) this was so heartwarming 💟

Upon watching this,I can only think of my 17 year old autistic brother,who most of the time are with my 61 year old mother. He is fully dependent on my parents, doesn't recognise important numbers or how to call those numbers. I was very glad when my late father fell down in the toilet and passed away,my mother and my other brother were at home. Had only it be 2 of them, I wouldn't know what will happen. I am married and I couldn't look after him now. I am very worried after watching this clip. I admire Yoonah so much. She is so patient with Min. They are blessed to have each other.

That’s exactly I teach my nephew who also has autism. It’s life skills she will teach him repeatedly putting in so much effort and one day he will manage on his own.

they have the best mother-son relationship. she praises her son even if it's just a small thing that he did. the kid is also sweet even though we know boys are not that too sweet when it comes to their parents. i just wished he'll grow up, be a teen and will still be sweet to her mother.

I really admire people who take care of those with special conditions. Not every one have patience and understanding.

This is so touching for me. I have an autistic brother and I teach him skills that may seem easy to most of us but a little difficult for him. My parents constantly worry about how he will take care of himself if we’re not around, so we teach him this stuff so he can become a little more independent

Having my own experience with someone with autism, I’m so glad that she’s being a proactive mom and teaching her son life skills that he will need. I know everyone with Autism has their limits, but I believe in pushing their limits. You never know what they can achieve. The kindest thing you can do is teach and give them as much independence as possible. It takes a special person and especially moms to have this kind of love and patience. Not everyone can do it and she is a wonderful woman for doing all she can.

It's tough being a mom for a child with needs. Such an amazing woman and her son is coming along wonderfully. Every milestone and achievement is extra celebrated and it builds from there. I recall struggling with my son but he has come along way and will be a Junior in high school this year. Never thought that day would come especially when just learning the alphabet was hours of tears and frustration.
