Different lights for different applications but I’m gonna tell you one thing if you work night shift especially if you work night shift as a mobile mechanic you’ll find out that that Astro light is good for about three hours of silent work and then it goes out that Milwaukee it’s more cumbersome maybe a little bit harder to put in place but for a night mobile guy it’s just it’s the best but again it depends on what kind of work you’re doing because just like everything else there’s the perfect light for certain jobs but not every light is perfect for every job

I totally agree. Night work with a Milwaukee light is the best. I also prefer the temp of the light. It's more true to daylight, instead most other lights they're blue tinted. It bothers me to no end. I guess the blue lights are better than the dim yellow lights from incandescent bulbs from days long ago... but Milwaukee has them all beat.

Astro magnets are shitty until they grab a tool at the wrong time in your box.

Bought one a few weeks ago, love it! My Streamlight spends a ton more time in my pocket and I haven't touched my head lamp since I got the M12.

I have 2, I keep one on each lift post I like it for brake/front end work. I can light up the area but keep it back a little and keep the glare out of my eyes

The swivel base astro lights do the same thing as you said and the screw holding the base will come loose as soon as it placed cuz the grab from the magnet causes an impact the works the screw to loosen over time...then will eventually strip out of the plastic stem they thought would hold up to daily use

I think this became a magnet review 😂 Would've like an actual review like what types of light will it replace, what lights would it maybe not replace, maybe some mock scenarios to show its strengths and weaknesses, and how well the OTHER magnet is like if you use it to hold some bolts or maybe a couple sockets, wrenches, etc.

You got pros and cons in everything it’s up to you how to take it and use it. But Astro considering it’s a small light compared to that monstrosity of a light. Point is as they say you have all tools for the right job. Something people won’t understand (my wife 😂) why do you have so many of one thing I said do what I’m doing daily you would get it. Awesome light btw I see a new arsenal to my already 2 dozen 💡. 😃 👍🏾 👍🏾

I like the astro light's ideas like the wireless charging, but they are kind of flimsy. I've had 3 and they all started to fall apart within the first month. Maybe I was just unlucky but the little flashlight lip lense fell off and the hinge split at the seam. Again, cool light, but wish it was made with more durable materials

My take on lights is like a scanner.. there is no perfect light. Hence why you have multiple lights.

You should have titled this "Milwaukee magnet review. Oh and I think there's a light". I've watched several of your videos and I don't think I've ever seen you so stuck on a subject. I guess it's obviously important / pet peeve of yours but, seriously, the viewer does not need 85% commentary on magnets when the video is about a light. It sticks it's strong. We get it. You should have made this video length about 45 seconds max considering the content. If you chose to actually review the light, you might have had a 4 minute video that was much more useful to a viewer. Should have thought this video out a bit more before shooting it and then stuck to what your content plan was. If you would have you would have avoided the magnet super rant. For whatever reason it really seems like (for this video at least) you failed to "think it through" before you hit the record button. Just some food for thought.

I really wanted to hear how many times you've dropped it or banged it with a heavy tool - something that actually broke or went wrong with it or it actually stood up to accidental abuse. Did you have a problem with it's swivel mechanisms? I suspect you haven't really used it that much, which is why the only thing you focused on was THE MAGNET!!! ;-) You couldn't even take the trouble to time time how long the battery lasted on a couple of the settings?!!! What other tools do you use those batteries on, i.e. how useful are they? Can you use larger batteries? Next time try making a video when you actually have some user experience! This was essentially a useless video. Not impressed.
